Hello everyone! I thought I would share some insight onto what the houses of Navamsa represents when it comes to your marriage life. 1st house - overall health of the marriage/spouse 2nd house - wealth through marriage, the accumulated wealth through marriage, and represents your own family (you, spouse and your children) 3rd house - the effort it takes to sustain your marriage 4th house - comfort and happiness of marriage 5th house - romance of marriage through the fun you’ll have going out together, creative aspect, enjoyment in marriage 6th house - debts you accumulate through marriage, ability to have arguments or no arguments at all, how quickly you will or will not be able to pay off debts through marriage and also how quickly or not quickly it will be if you get a divorce 7th house - represents your spouse in general, spouses personality and character & also represents your ability to compromise in marriage 8th house - longevity of the marriage, joint assets you accumulate through the spouse, your in-laws 9th house - represents if your marriage will lead you to your spirituality or will marriage take away your spirituality, the impact your spouse will have on your philosophical and religious beliefs 10th house - represents the public image of the marriage, how people view you two as a couple together 11th house - the hopes, wishes and desires of your spouse & how many desires can be met through the spouse 12th house - bed pleasures in the marriage, foreign lands, donations, spiritual life, foreign travels in marriage The main houses to look at when considering/analyzing marriage is the 1st house, 4th house & 6th house in your Navamsa chart. You want to see how easy marriage will come to you (first house), how much happiness you will gain through marriage (4th house), if there will be disputes within the marriage and if so, how many? (6th house). IP: Logged |

If this is true it is GREAT info! It's really hard to find information about the D-9 online.IP: Logged |

@manderin Yes this is true, the houses in Navamsa tells us a lot about ourselves and our lives after the age of 36 or after we get married. Divisional charts become so important when you want to know exactly what differentiates people who share the same birthdate and birth time. It makes is easy to see soulmate relationships as well. I originally answered this question on Quora and decided to post it here to give more food for thought. IP: Logged |

Very helpful jyesthatequila thank you. (sidenote: My moon happens to be my atmakaraka in Jyestha).Do you know if the D9 represents the first marriage/relationship or all marriages by the native. I've never been married unfortunately, but I know someone who has been married 3x and though they were all foreigners (she has a thing for accents) that seemed to be the only similarity in the marriages. Would someone still use the D9 in her situation? IP: Logged |

The D9 Navamsa chart represents all the marriages and also the heart of each planet in your main birth chart. Yes, she should still use the D9 chart when reading about her marriages. Except that in the main birth chart, the 7th house is the first spouse, the 9th house becomes the second spouse and the 11th house becomes the third spouse and so on counting three places from the previous house. I am currently doing free vedic chart interpretations so maybe after I finish the three I am already working on, I can look at your chart if you'd like, for free of course. IP: Logged |

So for 2nd marriage, I'll take the 9th house as the 7th house? 9th Lord is Moon in 11th house so I will read it as 7th house Lord in 9th house? What happens if Moon conjuncts Rahu? EDIT: I read that for 2nd marriage we should use the 8th from 7H instead? IP: Logged |
