On a recent episode of Elton John's Rocket Hour, Elton talked about Leonard Cohen with his Canadian husband David Furnish on their Canada Special podcast. And I quote...

Besides his Messianic heritage, Leonard Cohen spent time living as a Zen Buddhist monk. Also expressed much Love for Christ.

In a long phone conversation with Dan Carlson Jr, I confided in and sought counsel about my L.G. astro-problem.

Dan simply asked me if I was born to a "magical family"?

My shoulders dropped as I said, "No, my mom's a doctor. I grew up with science."

Dan told me from his experience, it's really not such a big deal, or so startling, if you're born and raised in a "magical household".

It is simply easier to accept if it's what you're raised to be aware of and know.

And that makes sense to me.

The Band wrote "Jupiter Hollow"...which is clearly knees deep in Astrology...and The Band also wrote the song "Up On Cripple Creek".

"Sun Signs" was released in 1968.

"Up On Cripple Creek" was released in 1969.
