I remember ordering "Love Signs" as a kid from the "Current" book catalog. LOL!!! And it's really TOO BAD her finances/estate, etc. were such a MESS. Both of my parents had VERY clear wills, a fact for which I am eternally grateful! (I have the feast & famine thing, probably because I'm self-employed.) It'll be very interesting to see how LG's estate plays out. I did not experience this with my parents, but I think that if the will/estate is messed up, it somehow makes it all worse, for the heirs. It's got to make the grief...worse. And LG had SO MUCH loss--"Thunderbolt Path," indeed! I'm mature enough now to know we all have our difficulties. LG did so MUCH good, for so MANY people...including me! That is SO true for me, too. They always taught us in college to NOT want to meet our favorite authors, because they are NEVER how you hope they'll be, and it's ALWAYS disappointing. LOL. I am a HUGE Elizabeth Taylor/Richard Burton fan (she's my fave icon) and this reminds me of something his daughter, the actress Kate Burton, said about him. "He gave a lot of pleasure to a lot of people, but couldn't find any for himself."
