Forgive my ignorance, but who was Sally to Linda and why did she disappear?

Sally was Linda's daughter. Linda's husband identified Sally's body; however, Linda remained convinced that it wasn't actually Sally, because the CIA has been known to use "time twins" to replace key political figures, and because the body was missing a tiny scar that Sally had. All of this occurred when Linda uncovered shocking information she was about to reveal concerning President Nixon. Linda planned on writing a book co-authored by a private investigator called The Spider Line exposing what she found out. She was convinced that Sally was kidnapped by the CIA and was the subject of mind-control experiments to erase her memory and that she was out there somewhere (the CIA has admitted to conducting these experiements in the 70s).

Off the path a little, but Randall, what happened to the P.I. who intended to co-write Spider Lines?

The name of the private investigator was David Sikes. The title of the book was going to be Spider Line or Forget Me Not. I don't think it was ever published. Does anyone know more about David Sikes or his book?

Do you think perhaps Sally had inherited alot of Linda's gifts and posed a deeper threat than Linda herself somehow? or do you think this may have been done as a warning to Linda?

I think a mothers instinct is second to none, she knew.

The investigator actually signed up here a couple of years ago. He only posted once. He's on the string where I talk about writing an unauthorized biography about Linda.

Dear Randall,

Thankyou for the info regarding Sally. How old was she when she was kidnapped? Did Linda have any other children? If so, are they spiritually minded? What happened to Linda's husband?

Love and Peace,
Sunmeadow Glades.

I can't recall her age at the time of her disappearance, but maybe someone here knows. Yes, Linda has other children. Not sure what they think. They stay rather quiet. Sam Goodman passed away.

Thankyou for your information on this topic of Linda. I do appreciate it. I just have 1 more question regarding her death. She died at the age of 70 if I am correct. 7 + 0 = 7.
7 is a mystical number. Was Linda's death mystical in any way? Do you think she ever achieved physical immortality and faked her own death? Or do you think she really did pass over?

Love and Peace,
Sunmeadow Glades.

No, I believe she did in fact, pass over, but you picked up on something very interesting and mysterious. I wonder...

Randall, any ideas?

It's fascinating that the actual investigator came to visit the site. Who knows how many mysterious and special people have seen this place but of course never post. Really makes you think of how special this place has truly become...

Linda's daughter-in-law has visited Lindaland in the past (and probably other of her family).

As Webmaster of Linda's fan site, I can't support any notion of her faking her death; however, there are some here who feel that the idea isn't such a crazy proposition.

I didn't know Linda had died untill I visited this site. I always assumed she was still alive due to my own personal feelings. I never did any research into Linda's Life, I had only read her books. When I found out she had passed it just didnt seem right to me and I still feel weird about it (maybe in denial). Anyway, I know Linda is in each of our hearts which makes her very much alive.

I feel Linda as a bigger entity in my life since finding this forum and I know that whether in spirit or for real....shes around

If the CIA admits to doing these experiments in the 70's, what is to stop us from beleiving the same very stuff isn't going on right now??? I tell you, my mind really wonders sometimes!

Sally was either 18 or 21 when she disappeard. There is debate on that. Personally, I think she was 21.

She was last seen at Hackmatack PLayhouse in a summerstock theatre company in Maine. The kids who worked there (including SAlly) had to sell berries along the roadside as part of their dues. Some think the berries had chemicals treated on them that linked them to messing up with their minds. That's one theory. And that Sally was taken from Hackmatack and a "Time twin" was put in her place.

Lots to ponder...

p.s. Randall, if it's not too much trouble, do you think you can scrounge up the thread where Linda's daughter in law and DAvid Sikes posted?? please???

I'll try to find the private investigator post! Her daughter-in-law didn't post here. She privately e-mailed me with some confidential news. Sorry, don't ask.

To the top, for Philbird.

My mistake, a body was found, but as Randall said, Linda did not accept it as Sally's.

All it takes is a few moments of digging and you can find these sorts of threads.

The body double was missing a very distinguishing scar.

Thanks Randall, I remembered reading that but didn't include it.

And after reading the artice from 1995 in the other thread, I'm wondering...if in fact the body had been found after days of decay,so much so that the skin was dark in appearance, do you think it's possible that the scar just wasn't visible any longer?

Oh, we'll never know, of course, because we don't know any details about the scar. It just set my mind to wondering.

Guess we'll never know, but Linda was about to reveal a major scandal involving President Nixon and other high-ranking officials. At that time, the CIA was also involved in various mind-control experiments, as well as using time twin body doubles.
