I know I have heard the saying, "when The student is ready the teacher will appear" but "while you sleep and slumber God talks to you in numbers", I never heard that one until Linda said it. Is that hers? anyone? anyone? Ferris...Ferris.....

I don't know but its lovely
I have always felt that the secrets of the universe could be unlocked through mathematics. In fact I think of Astrology as a mathematical science.(I know not a very popular belief) But if you don't look at it like this its hit and miss, more guessing than anything. When done correctly astrology is right on the money. This is through the use of exact aspects (math)

Cool thread! I found this in a search for Linda Goodman quotes:

"The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. They perform their cycles with the same mathematical precision, and they will continue to affect each thing on earth, including man, as long as the earth exists."
~Linda Goodman

In memory of - Linda Goodman

my all time favorite astrologer

"Close your ears to the sound of my voice, and through the thunder of a thousand cannons, you will hear it calling your name.

Blind yourself to the light in my eyes, and through the blackness of eternal night, you will feel them piercing your soul.

Insulate your body against my hands, and through blocks of ice, it will tremble in response to my touch.

Turn your cheek away from my breath, and through layers of rock, you will feel it hot against your lips."

"Sometimes, tickling them helps. They giggle, turn pink, then finally mumble, “Aw shucks, I didn’t mean it.” It’s always easier for Taureans to back down when the disgrace of being wrong is cozily blanketed in humor. It breaks the fall.......
Taureans have a sensational sense of humor, and if they can learn to laugh at. themselves, their adjustment problems will be all over. There’s nothing like a funny bone to tickle the Bull into moving, or changing a Fixed position.....
And you can also be certain that every Taurean has a funny bone hidden somewhere behind the silent facade."

Tee hee!

This could turn into a lovely string.
I will have to think about what my favorite Linda quote on Aries might be...

( Good one Randall. I've been saying that to myself for as long as I can remember. I must have learned it from Linda. It really works.}

"yes, even here...
where you never were
...you're always there
I see you and hear you
...and feel you and smell you
in the air..."

I agree with you 200% percent. its so true, its all mathematical, and the great thing about this is it can be basic math, you can find the answers in some of the most basic computations and receive great results.

I truly believe the slumber and God talks to you in numbers. actually have so much proof of it too. cant wait to share it will you guys in the future.

thundermountains rumbling numbers in my head!!!

"Partial Truth--the seeds of wisdom--can be found in many places. In primal instinct may partial truth be found...in earthly law, social custom, scientific research, philosophy and religious doctrine. The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written...especially in art, music and pOetry...and, above all, in Nature.
But real Truth can be found in only one place only--in every man's and woman's communion with an eternal Source of hidden Knowledge within--which each individual must seek and find for himself or herself.
We may point out the path to others, but each must walk along that path alone--until every single "lost one" has made the whole journey-- and all of us have finally reached the Light of full-born Wisdom at the end of the Way...

...where we began, a long-forgotten Time ago.

I like the quote on our main page. It may sound silly, but I asked Linda what she wanted on her intro page and opened up Gooberz to a random page and pointed at it with my eyes closed. How fitting that it was something Linda said to her Twin.

Not silly at all Randall. I do it all the time. Such beautiful words she chose for the intro page.

I read this today and it made me chuckle.

"All you have to do is use your head for something besides getting headaches, and a garden for you hair to grow in -- on?
Whatever."

lol Funny!

I dont know about that treasure city stuff. I would rather wait until the time comes when Linda comes back to tell me all that stuff, though it was pretty to read. I hope no one trys to talk to me After I go to another dimension. I might tell them to go and read a book.

I think his name is similar but not the same to the person your referring to,
I'm in OZ, and there was a show called 'crossing over' with John Edwards. He hosted the show, with a very large audience and he claimed he could communicate with those who have passed over.

He would find someone in the audience who had a relative that died and give them a 'message' for that person in question. Although, I was very much into it at first, I found that his formula for this type of guesswork was rather transparent.

He did a good job to make it very believable... but I watched a program where a man, with a similar talent, consulted with people to test this theory, the test people where convinced that this man could communicate with their relative that died. After that, he said he had no real communication to the passed over what so ever, and was just using a technique that John Edwards used. And the people that walked away from this test study still were convinced he really did talk to their relative, that's how good he was!! Although, personally, I think it's wrong to mislead people in such a sensitive way purely for proving a point.

He has a book out about his crossing over adventures, and there are people that still believe him.
