Michael says, "I guess it would be for a person like my mother who needs the acknowledge of others, hers seemed to be a very lonely path, but i think that's the way it is with people on a truly spiritual path."

Thank you

Next question:
What is the most special memory you share with your mother... (if this is too personal, please share another that may interest a sagi girl like me) -LOL!

Edited to add:
I have years worth of questions rolling around in my mind now...

As I understand, you are not accessible online just now...
Is there any way you would consider a personal letter question answer session on my behalf?
As I'm certain your privacy is valuable to you we could perhaps use a person you feel comfortable with to forward these through...

Is this possible?

[as excited as I am, I don't wish to monopolize this thread as I do not feel that's what this was actually intended for at the original post]

Michael says,"I have many fond memories of my mother, here are a couple, when i was about 8 or 9 and my mother was in a different locale than my father and I, my mother would call each night and read Peter Pan, The Hobbit and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe which by the way was one of her favorite books (which is printed in the back of one of her books-BIO)

oh.....

Another Memory would be...another memory would be....give me a second, just had it in the back of my head..well there's the time sh e helped the bum out but thats a too long of a story...so many flooding my head...

one of the many times my mom and I walked the beach with the sand between our toes and she was very relaxed and that was rare for her to completely relax."

oh and your not monopolizing...you're the only one.

Sweet!

"The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" is/was a personal favorite of mine as well, LOL!

I once took my eldest son to see the play and he was absolutely in awe... *sigh

He's just gone off to college so memories such as this are very special to me as well...

I sent him one of your mothers books by the way to keep him cozy and mentally stimulated.

I've no doubt your mother felt this heartache too at points in her life. Those memories with you, most likely brought the same joy to her heart that they bring you now.

Thank you again for taking this time....

I myself loss my mother just a few years ago.
So, here are a few questions kind of based on my own experiences.

* How do you feel her (your momma's) presence in your life today?

* Do you find yourself talking with her for validation or comfort at times?

* Has she visited you after her death?

* Do you personally recognize habits, actions, or practices within you that she seem's to have influenced from the otherside?

Again, if any of these are uncomfortable just skip over and add whatever you like or care to share.

I am listening...

Absorbing if you will...

wee diggy, those are some good questions....

1] How do you feel her (your momma's) presence in your life today?

mostly when i am explaining something to someone about her, i get a strong approval or disapproval directly from my mother when i am relaying things to others about her.

2] Do you find yourself talking with her for validation or comfort at times?

Absolutely

3] Has she visited you after her death?

Only once, right after my brother called me to tell me she had passed, she called me on the phone and appeared in front of me as a huge gold and red dragon-Fly which stayed hovering in front of me during the entire time I knew she was on the phone. which coincidently she had always told me, "don't worry, I will always call you if I am leaving." And which also coincidently, the phone called lasted for 9 minutes, which was the magic number of the universe that my mother always said to look for her in.

4] Do you personally recognize habits, actions, or practices within you that she seems to have influenced from the other side?

my developed lack of tolerance for stupid people and stupidity and my fierce defending of the underdog. And least I not forget "THE TOAST MUST BE BUTTERED TO THE EDGES!" LOL

Awesome answers!!!

LMAO here too...

um... let's see...

Care to share a moment when your mother's strength blew your mind?

As in, you did something naughty and she handled you with care, understanding, laughter, and wisdom when she should have wrung your flippin' neck... LOL!

(or) something along these lines...

My friend Clyde came to Colorado to visit, and he had a very hard time dealing with my mothers WAYS, she was an "acquired taste" after all. But he came from a strict family so he tried to adjust as best he could.

well one day he and my mother got in a argument and I came in asking "what are you two arguing about?" Clyde said, "Michael... take me to the airport...I am out of here."

he was an extremely dangerous individual from New York, expert in Karate, and a Taurus to boot.

So we got in a car to go to the airport, at which time as he and i were in the back seat, my mother in the front passenger seat would not stop berating him with insults and generally egging him on. He became increasingly furious asking how i could possibly tolerate a woman like this all these years.

when we got to the airport, we were late as usual, which was "par for the course" for my mother. Clyde Missed his flight and At that point we had to return home to wait for the next days flight. Upon arriving at home, Clyde and I went into my room and he started yelling at me about how horrible my mother is and basically making threats that if she didn't stop talking to him that he was going to do something, Which i could only assume meant something physical.

At that point, when I truly worried about the situation's explosiveness, the triple Aries as we all know as Linda Goodman stomped into the room and said very loudly, "Clyde" I have something I want to say to you."

I held my breathe in expectations of a Aries/Taurus clash, the likes of which I have never seen. She then approached him, he tensed up and balled his fist, my mother then unexpectantly put her arms around him, hugged him tightly to her and simply and softly said these words:

"I LOVE YOU CLYDE."

At which time unbelievably Clyde then melted in her arms, hugged her back and said,

"I LOVE YOU TOO MRS. GOODMAN."

And so With tears flowing down his cheeks.

And so another tale of THE LION AND THE LAMB, in this case A BULL AND THE RAM laying down together in peace.

"EXPECT A MIRACLE"

Micheal says, "Happy to meet a new spirited friend and hope the answers to the questions were inspiring and helpful. They're all completely true and I hope this is a answer to all the doubters of course not including you, that doubt Thor's and my word, that I AM THE ONE true Micheal A. Goodman, Linda Goodman's Youngest son.

EDIT....

And if there are still doubters out there as to Thor's words or mine, I will be writing A book about my mother and I will leave that up to all of you to interpret what type of book it will be.
