Browsing through the internet for "Mary Alice Kemery" I found an interesting conspiracy theory about Lincoln and his connection to Linda, written by someone saying he was her close personal friend. Check this out, it's really interesting.

Greetings...Well Morgana... I have to say I was aware of some of this story from my days with Linda. Some day I may reveal all of the connections that she mentioned.. . but it is long and complicated, and to be honest I can't recall all of the pesky details.. suffice it to say that a good deal of the "proofs" are based on the physiognomical similarities found in a collection of pictures that Linda kept in a scrap book, that she showed me long ago in Colorado. She did tell me about the lithograph, and Ray Neff. I do not know the person who penned that article though. But Linda knew many, many people. So.. let me say that it is more than a little possible that indeed, Linda was the great (plus or minus a great) granddaughter of honest Abe. Pax, and Merry Christmas... A  IP: Logged |

Thanks for answering, Aselzion! You're a very kind person indeed, taking the time to answer all our questions.
Personally, I think you're great!!  Did Linda believe that about her being related to Lincoln? And who's the person "88", do you perhaps know or have a clue at least? You don't have to answer right away, take your time and enjoy the holidays, it's just that I'm at work right now and have a lot of time on my hands...  Have a great holiday (and everything else too, of course)!

Hey again M...Thanks for the vote of confidence.. I wish my boss felt the same way.. ah well, such is Life! At any rate. HH was a secret or not so secret code that Linda used when referring to Howard Hughes. Did you catch the name Hughes in that article? 8 is the 8th letter of the alphabet, so 2 8's is HH or Howard Hughes. It's an interesting and INVOLVED story. It occupied a good deal of Linda's life researching, so I'd say YES she definitely believed it. ANd she did claim to own the lithograph that was mentioned, though I don't know what happened to it after her death. It was reputedly worth ALOT of money, and Linda was quite indebted to various people, so.. I dunno. I cannot say if it is 100% true, but there are some amazing "coincidences" if it isn't! Of course! I thought of Hughes, but I wasn't sure.Yes, amazing coincidences, and I, for one, am quite inclined to believe it. Why not, anyway? Stranger things have happened.
