Do you want to live for ever and use a mobile phone? Computer, tablet, smartapp, microwave,anything electronic (which now means everything), baby monitor, energy saving lightbulb?better start building that spaceship! ------------------

Hi Makhlouf, forgive me if I sounded sarcastic in our last discussion, I didn't intended to. I think mobile phone is very dangerous, and before I lost ability to become physically immortal I didn't use it. I used a computer, but not all the time. I am using a mobile phone right now because I am already not at my best, so I don't care anymore. I was against cellular communication for a long time as it is very harmful. Now, that I am in it, I don't know how I could have managed without it, but the fact is that I could. It is not realistic, though, to make society be without it right now. Saying that, it could be useful going out on mobile phone's diet, just trying to live without it for one day and see what happens. I don't think one can live forever with this kind of intensive radiation. I also used to like working with stones, but since I am addicted to my cell I don't feel them as acutely as before. I am not a scientist, but it seems to me that these are different types of radiation. To take some other example, banana has sugar in it and candies likewise, but banana is good for you while candies are harmful. Bananas are created in nature by higher intelligence. A crystal can have a healing influence, while the radiation of a mobile phone can cause a tumor in the head. As I have said, I am not a scientist and am an ignorant, but it is a known phenomena a person would get tired from sitting many hours in front of the computer. There are special devices made in order to make the radiation lower. Why is that? Obviously because it is harmful. And have you asked yourself why cellular antennas are not in sight where the rich people live?IP: Logged |

No, because we have developed a high tolerance for radioactivity, but they are used as an informal measure of radiation in BEDs (Banana Equivalent Dose). The most radioactive food is Brazil nuts. The roots go deep into the earth where the nuts absorb a lot of radioactivity. Space aliens who try to take over this planet would probably succumb to the radiation, having not been born here. There was a Teacher out in the mid/southwest (long time ago). She was a Healer and her name was Chris. She talked about all the radiation in that area due to its being used as testing ground for nukes in the 1900s.I think I remember her saying that we could evolve into a species that could learn to handle and absorb it without harming. Transmute. Reminds me of allergy shots, where you learn to tolerate your allergen by the offending agent being introduced into the body, where the immune-system learns to disregard it or change its reaction. Maybe the same thing could happen for radiation? Imagine a new kind of radiation-breathairianisms... (uh? is that a word? LOL). New way to nourish our bodies, and ascend in soul through feeding off the radiation in the environment? Just a thought.  IP: Logged |

I don't think the human body is built in a way that is tolerant to unnatural radiation. Just like the fact that the body is not built to live on chemicals, junk food, etc. It will not show at first, but eventually a disease will take place.Natural radiation is never too much, unless it is the sun and there is a hole in the ozon layer caused by man made pollution, which is anything but natural. If they are used as a measure, then they are not high in radiation, except in relation to other fruits. High values cannot be used as a measure: we use things like inches and ounces as a measure, precisely because of their low value.------------------

Evolution is not the smooth process implied here. Many members of the species die before the species can evolve. If you want to live for ever you would not want to risk being a victim of the current cancer epidemic? Why would you want to evolve into a sponge for radiation? ------------------

Adaptation involves the random mutation of cells that somehow give survival value. Adaptation to radiation itself could result in making individuals stronger rather than susceptible to cancer. Oxygen is toxic to cells, yet it is vital to life.IP: Logged |
