In this forum we tend to always go by looks, but there are other age indicators as well.lf somebody asks your age, they probably think you are young as most people are too tactful to ask older folk their age. If they ask about your family, meaning parents and siblings, they think you are young, otherwise they would have asked about spouse and children.Any more? ------------------ And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places Isaiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

Yes, the suggestions come from my own experience. Another indication that you are regarded as old is care for your safety...Lewis Carroll: You are old, Father William, the young man said, And your hair has become very white; And yet you incessantly stand on your head Do you think, at your age, it is right? In my youth, Father William replied to his son, I feared it might injure the brain; But, now that I'm perfectly sure I have none, Why, I do it again and again. You are old, said the youth, as I mentioned before, And have grown most uncommonly fat; Yet you turned a back-somersault in at the door Pray, what is the reason of that? In my youth, said the sage, as he shook his grey locks, I kept all my limbs very supple By the use of this ointment one shilling the box Allow me to sell you a couple? You are old, said the youth, and your jaws are too weak For anything tougher than suet; Yet you finished the goose, with the bones and the beak Pray how did you manage to do it? In my youth, said his father, I took to the law, And argued each case with my wife; And the muscular strength, which it gave to my jaw, Has lasted the rest of my life. You are old, said the youth, one would hardly suppose That your eye was as steady as ever; Yet you balanced an eel on the end of your nose What made you so awfully clever? I have answered three questions, and that is enough, Said his father; don't give yourself airs! Do you think I can listen all day to such stuff? Be off, or I'll kick you down stairs! ------------------ And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places Isaiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROZqtWyLTN8 Makes me think of George Harrison, with that rocking library video, when he does that doubleback flip and all...You know, he had a home worthy of the Lewis Carroll school of thought. All these cool little sayings hidden in unexpected places. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friar_Park

Hey, this is fantastic info. I never knew these things about George Harrison. How interesting that he felt in danger when Lennon was murdered. Look at who is alive of the Beatles and who is dead.------------------ And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places Isaiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurdy_Gurdy_Man Have you ever heard Donovan Leitch talk about their time in India together?I saw a Special he did on PBS where he spoke of it, and uncovered an unknown verse of "Hurdy Gurdy Man" I think it was. He hadn't toured for an awful long time, and was doing a Fundraiser for getting TM into the School Curriculum. It was astounding in scope. If you think of the way the Hurdy-Gurdy is played and think in terms of spirals, many things will come clear. IP: Logged |

http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum25/HTML/004627.html Kind of funny, if you go to the Steve Hillage Musick on this Thread, that one has songs from both Song-Writers on it. They wrote them both at that Time (that was Not a Time) too.Interesting... Guess some things just live forever! IP: Logged |
