Besides the kinkiness (but how is that defined, really?), the Scorp Rising descriptions fit Jase and me to a "T".Thank goodness we've got each other to act that way towards IP: Logged |

I am Virgo rising female and I guess it is true, not that I have had any serious relationships yet. Ha ha, the double Virgo I am, I gotta wait til Mr. Perfect comes along IP: Logged |

I am a Virgo rising (but I think having Pluto conjuncting my ascendent gives me a blend of Virgo and Scorpio rising).Unlike the Virgo rising, I will not look past the faults just to be in love. I don't need the "Appreciation for the devotion to the family" to become sexual. BUT, I cannot stand anyone that takes me or what I do for granted. If someone is coarse at all and then thinks we are going to hit the sack...NO WAY. As far as the Scorpion tendencies: I see alot when it comes to the part about intense passion be it an all night screaming match or other..LOL not to mention the sensual fabrics, oils and scents, those are very important items and totally necessary. So who knows. I am a mish mash..With two planets in my first house (one being Uranus), it kind of adds a bit of flare to the ascendent. IP: Logged |

fajita~ How would you define the virgo rising characteristics? Positives and negatives? I am just curious, as I have a close friend who has this, and it would be helpful if I got firsthand knowledge instead of reading. In your opinion, that is. i figure, mixed in with other aspects, you can better define which characteristic fits where.... Thanks, darlin'!IP: Logged |

Well I will tell you what I think but please keep in mind I am no astrologer! Just like the stuff is all. Well I see the qualities of virgo rising in myself being that I can be (until I get to know people, or drink too much) somewhat quiet and shy, always observing (that might be Aquarian sun stuff too) but I am really polite too. People always tell me I am so polite, and I am, I mean, I thank people for everything and apologize all the time. I mean no matter what situation I am in, I could be at school or work or clubbing or on the bus and I always mind my manners! Some people even get annoyed with me, but it's just the way I am. I am pretty critical but mostly to myself. And I enjoy doing things to help, like dishes or cooking or something, I like to help contribute to that kinda stuff, to be doing something to help. I think that is the service part. I hope I made sense. Oh, and I don't know if this has to do with virgo rising but sometimes I am not assertive when it comes to standing up for myself. But I'll rush to the rescue of another/a group anytime. Oh yes, and I like projects and to be doing stuff. I always have to be doing something in life. But I am willing to bet all virgo risings are not like me. I'm sorta going thru some difficult stuff at the moment, but the things I described to you are applicable no matter what is going on in my life. Let me know if I have anything in common with your friend. I have aqua sun and taurus moon too. In case you wondered. Am I conceited that I just wrote so much about myself? sorry haha there i go with the sorrys ------------------ Namaste! IP: Logged |

oh, you ARE sweet! I asked you about yourself, so naturally I wanted to hear about you....thank you for that! I am polite and mind my manners in most situations too, but I call that being Canadian...... It's true, my friend is always so busy, and I don't know if he'd be able to stop, let alone want to if he could! He is also very appreciative of people and always tells them so.. Is very polite also. So I would say your opinion on it sounds accurate to me. I am also no astrologer, but half of the knowledge is applied and intuitive and based on observation anyway. We all qualify for that! Thank you for your take on it. I'd love to hear more about you too! Thank you!IP: Logged |

Hi Fajita and pixelpixie, How are things going? Wow, I totally get the polite thing all the time as well. I try to be so body-conscious, in that I mean, I am always aware of what I am doing and that I do not disturb another with a bump or jab. I always say "Miss" or "Sir" with a "thank you" "Please". I also cannot tolerate rude behavior or people that walk right into another. I think the word is courtesy!!! People just don't use it enough. I will let things go to a point, then my Saggie mouth and Aries moon come out swinging. Like at the airport, I travel a lot..like once a month, and I notice completely rude behavior getting on the plane, off the plane and especially at the baggage claim. Maybe it is a Northeastern thing, but I have been the only person in a certain area around the carasoul and notice that there is ALWAYS some little old punk that has to step right in front of me. Like I don't exist, when there is like 15 feet of empty space to either side of me. It's not like I blend in. I am almost 6 foot when I wear heels or tall boots. So, finally I started to speak up with "Oh, Hi..I must be invisible today". They usally walk away then. LOL... Sorry, I just had to get that out though. IP: Logged |
