Hey guys! I am trying to compile some data on food preferences according to sun sign. I realize they probably differ, it's more for entertainment purposes. Please include your sun sign and some of your fave foods and/or regions of cooking. Thanks so much to everyone that helps, I promise to share all the results, allthough it'll pretty much be here on the thread.I'll go first! (Aquarius) Mexican, spicy, Thai, sushi & sashimi, tomatoes, citrus!!, berries, chocolate, artichokes, seafood (all), steak, cornbread, butter, cheese, pork. ------------------ Namaste! IP: Logged |

Aphrodite, Flan isn't French! But it is my favorite dessert Aquarius Anything different-I'll try just about anything once. Fish and especially Shellfish-lobster, crab legs Japanese-all (ok, there was one seaweed dish that I actually despised) Mashed potatoes & Sweet potatoes Salads..various fruits (not lemons) veggies-ALL EXCEPT for cucumbers (but I love spicy pickles) cous cous/orzo/wild rice Indian food-curries, etc. Thai food Pumpkin Pie Spinach Pie Almonds, Pecans, Walnuts, Hazlenuts, etc. Coffee Other than soft ones(like Flan and pumpkin pie), I am rarely a fan of other desserts. I do crave chocolate every once in a while. Basically I love sauces and spices. D, there's just too much. I love food. Sorry if my list is too long. IP: Logged |

Hi Fajita! Aries here...but I hope you don't mind if I mention that I believe it's the 6th house that is generally considered the 'food box.' The sign on the cusp, or the planets in it, may give a more accurate idea of a person's food preferences. My 6th house cusp is Capricorn. And my tastes in food are variable. I'm generally a vegetarian, who eats some dairy and occassional sea food/fish (though I always feel a little guilty when I do!). I love carbs, pastas, breads, rice, etc. I love cheese, just don't think it's very good for us, so I limit it. But who can live w/o cheesecake now and then?? I love hot spicy food, ethnic food, I love trying new things. Some days are made for tomato soup and toasted cheese sammiches...some days are made for foods more daring. Last night I had coconut shrimp and margaritas...today, I'll have whole wheat pasta and sauteed fresh veggies, in olive oil with loads of garlic! Does that Cappy 6th house find comfort in food? Absolutely. And I'm kind of a health food nut 80% of the time, little junk food. Hope this helps! IP: Logged |

Pisces Sun Aqua Moon Taurean Venus (thinking about everything that'd prolly effect that)Hm. Hm. I dunno. I'm a really weird eater. When I was little, I could eat a whole gallon of Breyer's Ice Cream (but had a hummingbird metabolism, so that didn't matter)... Hm. Ovaltine. Sloppy Joes (I know, but I love them). Ramen (no, really). Shrimp (love, love, love, love). ... Hm. Snickers (snickers at Snickers). Most raw veggies (can snack on 'em all day). Most fruits (loooove nectarines, green apples w/ Peanut Butter). ...Stuff. I dunno I'll eat most of what's put in front of me.

Gosh, there's very few things that I DON'T like. I just love food in general. One thing I could never be is an anorexic, that's for darn sure. (not that I'd want to be, not making light of that or anything)Let's see. I love... Italian food Huge pasta fan Love tomotoe sauces chicken caccatorie (sp?)...anybody know how to make this? lasagna Pizza, of course Pretty much love it all, even spicy chizzoro sausage dishes Chinese food, most of it except anything with ginger...not a big ginger fan AT ALL. Not a big burger fan, or hot dogs for that matter. LOVE steak, but it's got to be cooked on an open flame. Pretty much love any meat cooked on an open flame. Love seafood too, although not a big cold shrimp fan, or anything raw/slimy. Don't care for most foods that are boiled in grease...french fries, battered crap (well, not crap literally...you know) For fast food, if someone is insisting on burger type food, I prefer Wendy's because I can get a good chicken burger and a baked potatoe. Something about foods heavily laden with grease that don't sit well with me...I feel like I'm gonna wretch after eating them. Probably my favorite meal would be BBQ'd steak (medium rare) w/ Caesar Salad and baked potatoe. ME TOO! After I reply to this post, I am on my way to the kitchen! Scorpio sun~ ( My 6th house is also Capricorn) I love food! I can eat any kind of cereal, any time of day, hot or cold... chocolate fresh, drippy caramel coffee garlic pie ( especially pumpkin- Ilove nutmeg/allspice/ginger/cinnamon etc. seafood/fish chicken not a big meat fan, although I love the way my gramma makes sweet and sour meatballs creamy sauces, thick noodles ( german/japanese varieties) Not a big fan of super spicy/hot things vegetables-usually cooked, but I like a fresh salad fruit cut and dipped in yogurt So much more!!!!What about eating habits??? I have always been a very slow eater... I savour and really taste my food. Always the last one at the table, always have been too. Maybe it has something to do with moon position? My hubby is also a slow eater, and we both have cappy moons. (Compulsive fear of choking maybe?) IP: Logged |

HHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMM.............. (Slow) Food for thought! Anyone else with a cappy moon/ cappy prominence in chart who eats slow? P.S>- I went to the kitchen, and got a big greek ( Thick) pita and stuffed it with roast chicken, tucked some lettuce in it, and slathered it with a dip I made that tastes just like tzaziki sauce (mmmm....garlic!) It's better when I warm the pita on the stove first, but, I couldn't wait. And a garden salad with sweet onion dressing and mandarin orange segments. YUM!IP: Logged |

Cappy moon here too...but, alas, I am not a slow eater! As a child I got into lots of trouble for eating too quickly. And I still tend to eat too fast. All that Aries, I suppose! Of course, Aphrodite has lots of Aries too... IP: Logged |
