Hi All,

Just a thread to get to know people. I am curious about little, mundane day to day stuff. Something funny, light and to keep moving through the day.

I'll start first ( Aries Sun) . . .

Dear Journal,

The fire alarms went off in the building today and it turns out that the 15th floor is flooded. It's raining.

Besides that, I ate a jalepeno bagel this morning for the first time and now my gums are on fire!

Your turn

Dear Journal,

I'm beginning to think that I have the most obstinate child in the world.
After being introduced to golden raisins this morning and attempting to gorge herself on them, she began to choke - her mouth was clogged with the little things and they had no chioce.
Once that situation resolved itself (after she spat them all out) she tried another, immediately let her face go blank, stuck out her tongue, and let the raisin drop.
She then took up each of the remaining one-by-one, gingerly pinched in her pudgy baby fingers, and somberly watched as they hit the floor.

I had a heaping spoonful of Chai Ice Cream for the dessert to my breakfast of Cheerios.

Love and Stuff,
Corri

Dear journal,

I really do hope I find a job in a quaint little art gallery complete with a well stocked library. Is that too much to ask?
I've also been thinking about moving to Berlin, but I dont speak a word of German. Its the place to be right now and having visited a few times, I can totally see my self there. Wanna stop saying 'totally', its so unoriginal. Maybe I should start a lexicon. A lexicon of words I can say instead of 'totally'. Hmmmm.
Logged onto Lindaland today and Aphrodite had started the perfect post.
Ok, time to get back job-hunting.

Dear Journal

Had a sneezing fit this morning, (which was cool, cuz I really like sneezing), but not one person bothered to say "Bless You!". This annoyed me, so I said "Bless Me!" to myself, but loud enough for everyone to hear.

Oh yeah, and I got a lovely ring from my sweetie for Valentines Day (not an engagement ring, just a gift * * )

It's beautiful, and so was the card. And I feel a little bad because my card to him wasn't that romantic, just kinda cutsie/funny, and all I got him was some chocolate covered peanut butter hearts. I really wasn't expecting him to do much at all for me...pleasant surprise indeed! His Libra moon does shine bright sometimes.

So, I'm going to eat my banana now. Anybody wanna watch?

Dear Journal,

This is a funny log. Really. A baby spitting chocolate raisins, her mamma eating ice cream.

I learned German in school. It's quite fun and easy. I even got to be in a play. Imagine that. An Asian chick prancing on a stage speaking Deutsch.

Is it fruit time over in Edmonton? Has an entire office taken a break for fruit in that city?

Yup, the entire city shuts down at 10:00am for 15 minutes, so that everybody can enjoy "fruit time".

Dear Journal,

Is it really necessary for transiting Neptune be in my first house for almost 22 years? It moved in in 1992 and the lease isnt up until somewhere around 2015. Would it be possible to serve up an astrological eviction notice? No? *sigh* Fine.
*whining* But I'm a triple earth sign! I dont like feeling like a balloon on a string in a careless child's hand, that at any moment could be let go and left to the mercy of the whipping winds. I want some solid ground.

*wanders off rambling in a Neptunian fog - trips and scrapes knee*

(pssst 26T - I feel your pain, man. It's been conjunct my moon, and opposite my sun/merc for farrrrr tooooo loonnnngggg nooooooowwwwwwwwww.......... (just moved into perfect opposition with sun/merc recently...we're talking 0 degree orb here. And I am lucky to be alive. I've been trying to find out how to communicate with my spirit guide lately, which is very fitting me thinks, but that subject probably deserves it's own thread. Hmmm. Perhaps I'll start one!)

As you were....

Next journal entry please?

Dear Journal,

There really should be an official Astrological Beaureau to process eviction notices to planets. We have them for speeding tickets and divorces. Why not planets?

Oh, oh! When my spirit guide is around, he communicates with dreams and starts smoking his stinky cigarettes when he is around in person. Is this just a guy thing or what?

Haha! You funnies!

Lioneye, That's a great idea for a thread! And wow, yeah I guess you can hear me. Right now he's opposing my natal Mars squaring MC which is conj. natal Uranus. :P And will at some point move on to oppose Saturn. That should be fun. Really though, there are good things to be pulled out of it, I know......
Great idea on trying to communicate with your spirit guide! I was actually thinking about that the other day. I want to get to know mine too.

Aphrodite , Yes, there really should be an AB to evict those sometimes bothersome planets. They can do some real damage and I'll tell you one thing!! Neptune is not getting his security deposit back!

LOL Your spirit guy *wink*...guide? lol...sounds like quite the character.

Okay, sorry. Back on topic. As you were.

Attention! Ten Hut!

Dear Journal,
I am ****** (drunk! as they say in the UK). I had a great nite. One word 'Freebar'. Was a fashion show after party...Jean Paul Gautier baby. Vivien Westwood was there, in all her red-haired splendor.
I am suyrprised at how adept I am in typing..even when intoxicated, yet exhilarated.
I wish (for lack of a better word, adjective? noun?) I was like this all the time, completetly loving myslef. Loving being me. It reminds me of this saying slash quote. 'I wake up in the morning and thought what great things is Salvador Dali gonna accomplish today' Salvador Dali.
You know what, dear diary?, Its great to love yourself...even tho' uyour exclamamtion points may be off the mark, but it is grrreeatt to love yourself, cos unless youy give to urself, you cant give to others., and be you arrogant or humble, you are still comning from a selfisgh (for lack of a better word) place. so why not be great.
Like nelson mandela says, 'we are not afraid of being weak/less than we are...we are afraid of being great. but let your light shine so others can do too.' Great. MR mandela is a wonderful guy. I'm so glad I live in a world with MAndelas in. Ok, maybe not Winnie. I dont know her personally, but....Nelson for sure.
Mybe I should stop now. I feel a bit strange but I wanna post this. IF only to highlight to the kids that drinking is bad
Bye Dairy.

Dear Journal~
Finally found an intelligent acedemic adviser today...in the College of Arts and Sciences...now why don't they put the intellligent advisers in the Undecided Major office? They need the most efficient help...Anyway, no real classes cause I have a MWF schedule , but got a chance to bum around a Salvation Army thrift store and got a new CD in the bargain: first released 98 Degrees album! Yeah.
Too much going on at home emotionally to even think about opening up that ugly can of worms...
Anyhow, must go off to watch Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill (the most awesome shows)...
ttyl,
Kat

hi danny,

it just means that you are a happy drunk in this thread and you got a couple of people happy too. neptune's mermaid and i are having fun with you. we have no negative intentions, nor are we making incisive comments at you.

have a good rest of the night and sleep well. i am going to be here late at the office and have to deal with charts like the one posted above in real life, with real money. i wish i could laugh, be merry, and sing about mandela sometimes too.

aye, such a cappie moon. such a cappie moon i am. let loose having fun and i worry about hurting another person's feelings.
