I have just had the best night I've had in a long time.
It is about midnight here in Durban and I have just returned home after been at a COUNTING CROWS concert that was held in Durban.
It's the 1st time I have been at an international act and it was AWESOME!
Obviously seeing COUNTING CROWS in concertwas the highlight, another highlight to me happened before it started.
My friend and I saw Adam(frontman for CC)talking to some people so we make our way through to them.People were taking his photos and shaking his hand.I GOT TO SHAKE HIS HAND and ask him a question. That was the 2nd highlight for me.How cool was that?
Love MD.

that's wonderful.

Are they the ones who sing "Mr. Jones"?

I love that song.

Synchronicity to the extreme..
I haven't listened to them in like a year.. today, in the car, we popped in "August and Everything After..."
The Classic-est of the Classic-est!!!!
We were groovin' and singing to Counting Crows every time we hopped in the car.. which was alot, today!!!
How neat is that, that you should post it.
I am glad you had a great time.

Today's trivia: Big Yellow Taxi is a song written by Joni Mitchell, very popular in the 1970's.

(I know lots of useless trivia about music. )

Just curious,

Synchronicity~
multiple events/actions/feelings/situations happening at the same time. Two seemingly unrelated things, somehow relating when defined and shared.
Even more so, as my friend today, in an email, mentioned something about Counting Crows too.
More synchronicity.
I take synchronicity as the Universe's way of showing me things are as they should be, on track. Paying attention to the simple divine.

Thank you Pixelpixie for explaining that-It was indeed syncronicity.
I hope it wasn't something bad your friend said about Counting Crows in your e mail you recieved.I would be upset.

Oh gosh, no!!!
Just about how he was listening to an acoustic version of "Anna begins", and how it filled him with happiness. Quite the opposite of negative, in fact!!
The line~ "Everytime she sneezes I believe it's love" is my single happiest line in a song ever, He was remembering that and shared. So no, in fact, it was quite a nice email.

That has made me happy now.Actaully ANNA BEGINS was the first song they performed at the concert. How syncronicity hey?
Ever since the concert,I have been in such a wonderful mood I dont want it to stop.
