Waking up well rested no matter how much sleep I have had, and having an infused feeling of wellness and peace with the world... being eager to face the day's hopes and fears.
Smelling that spring sun warm on my face.. the 'wake up ' feeling and memories it always illicits at the end and start of a new season.
New love.... even moments of new love with old loves.

4. Having your 7 year old son bring you half-dead red roses from the grocery store, where he only wanted to buy himself a chocolate (even if his cappy moon said: yeah, they only cost 1.99 so I bought them for you!). My first flowers from my son, yesterday--I almost cried They are the most beautiful roses I ever received.

Lioneye~ That is so funny, people will sneeze these little stifled sneezes.. and I'm like oh, that's so cute!! But I feel kinda sorry for that need to stifle something soooooo powerful.....
I also like sneezing!
They have been likened to other bodily rushes and sudden outpourings... Just let it out!!!!!

I wish I could do that

I'm one of those repressed sneezers When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade this boy named Wade sneezed and blew boogers all over the table we were sitting at. It was so gross I vowed to never do that, so now as a matter of course I have these little teensy sneezes, several in rapid succession. They are funny

and everyone here is raving about it!

ooohh speaking of baby smells.. how bout the smell of a brand new, just born babe.. The smell of the ammniotic fluid is so sweet.

I didn't want to bathe my son for a while after he was born cause he smelled so wonderful.
(It helped, perhaps, that he was a water birth and when he popped up from under the water he was washed clean but still had the heavenly smell.. )

Celebrating my "baby's" 18th birthday with her today; seeing the beauty in her soul and on her sweet face, and knowing I've done a good job.

Happy Birthday Melinda!

Love always!
