I saw the #'s 11:11 four times in the last two days.
I believe I really felt this shift in me. It started after Iva died. (the neighbor)
She was never married or touched by a man. She lived the life of faith, really! A very kind woman. I know I had mentioned I didn't like sitting through her lenthy stories about her health and such, I felt guilty.
I was talking to her bird she left behind and kinda drifted off into my mind and asked the question "Why did it annoy me so much listening to her stories?" I got a reply.
"Because you are the same way Mary." I could see what she meant and realized I probably would do the same thing when I get older.
But I also really experienced what infuriated me after her passing. Her family came to make arrangements and such and were staying at Iva's apartment. At 6:30 the next morning this really pushy cleaning lady, who may have cleaned her apt. three times, gave this sneaky and compelling story about how much she cared about Iva. (not!) So, the family assumed this was a good friend of Iva's. (She did have true friends that REALLY cared about her, but weren't there at 6:30 in the morning.) Anyway, the family just wanted to "clean up" as soon as possible, so they took a few things they wanted as momentos and the cleaning lady took everything else! The woman was hauling stuff out of the apt. faster than I had ever seen her move! I witnessed this and went down to the apt and mentioned that some of her dearest friends would probably like to have a momento before everything was given away. I had contacted them as soon as I heard of her death, no one else bothered to do that! While she was still semi conscious beingtaken out of her apt. Carl and I were there and all she said is "Someone take care of my bird, my bird, my bird." Two of her best friends gave her the bird to keep her company, and she wanted them to have it if she passed. I took it till they could pick it up. The family called me up and said, "Well, you just inherited a bird, I'm sure you'll find a good home for it!"
To my point. I was so angry with these people so I asked myself why. I got another answer, "Because your morals are in the right place, and you know I LOVED my bird."
I realized that a lot of things that made me angry are really reflections of the things I hate about myself they can also be opposite and things I love about myself. The one for that day was a conformation from Iva that I really did care, eventhough I had a hard time showing it.
Bless you Iva, I can now hear that voice inside that is not my own!
