We are trees.

We have roots, branches and blossoms.

The branches of a tree are a reflection of its roots.

I am an Oak. Woohoo! (42% of ppl got this result )

Sugar buns, I had a feeling that was coming
I knew I should have written Tree(wo)man
No offence, of course, to the female people. Mwa.

I have always had an idea to be buried with no coffin so my body can freely expand into the earth and to plant a tree over my body. My family can come to the tree to talk to me and will be protected by my spirit.

p.s. I have an incling that all should be reffered to as woman. Being that we all share an X but only men have Y, it would make sense to generalise into the X. It is like rounding up or rounding down. Lol.

OAK

You are boisterous and affectionate. You are the kind of tree that takes nothing sitting down, and is always ready for an adventure. You like to see everything that goes on around you. You like the warm weather, but you flourish when the nights tend to grow slightly colder. You are someone who likes to extend your days into the night hours because you never want to leave anything unfinished. You love an audience when you do things and you like to show off sometimes, but others admire your attitude. You fear past mistakes coming back to haunt you, but try to live day by day. You admire the strength of others and try to find the same in yourself. When you leave this word, you want to make an impression so that you'll never be forgotten.

WILLOW

You are compassionate and independent. You're the kind of tree who wants to help other trees find themselves in a crazy world you know all too well. You love the gentler side of nature and like things simple and elegant. A night owl, you like things peaceful all the time and are often vexed when others invade your solitude. You love the water as much as the land, feeling at home in both. Often shy, you always want to do things right, and crave attention every now and then. You fear that what you love most may one day turn on you, but it doesn't stop you from getting close to others. You are a good listener and other trees often come to you for advice or someone to talk to. You admire others who freely share themselves. When you leave the world, you want others to remember your example and follow it.

I like Trees too

Did you know that the oldest living things on Earth are the Bristlecone Pine Trees in Nevada. USA. They grow in the Great Basin National Park. They are estimated to be up to 4,900 years old.....

To put that in perspective...
They were saplings when the pyramids were built.

Pretty amazing!

Fayte, I love them too.
My daughter and I call our favorite willow tree, "Waterfall Willow".

AG, I had a "favorite tree" picked out along the Mississippi River that I looked at each time I took a drive north. They built the bike path around it, and I was very relieved that they didn't cut it down to go through... but next time I took a drive she didn't look so good, and the time after that, she was gone. They must have hurt her roots, or something from the concrete or construction poisoned her? I don't know, but it was a sad event for me.

The tomato pictures I actually found here. I forget what the thread was about, but those were interesting pictures, so I kept them.

Here's my tree at sunset:
