I have been away from my beloved LL for some time now...

the seasons change, and with my weird lifestyle comes a change of place. I get these breaks twice a year- my job ends, and I am drifting for a month- not really indigent, no, not I- I am on "break."
Its the best kind of break, because technically, I am still employed- thus, I still have money coming in, but I am NOT WORKING.

Yes, that needs to be capitalized- NOT WORKING. Its a unique state of being that most people would love to be in- I have no obligations, I can sleep in, I can do what I want.

I have been NOT WORKING for exactly 1 week- 4 to go. I am GOING NUTS.

i don't have internet access- if i did, I am sure life would be grand. As it stands, I got this gig catsitting and housesitting for these folks while they are in Hawaii. The house is at the end of a dirt road, middle-of-nowhere-out-west dirt road.

Me and the cats. The two most spoiled cats you have EVER seen, who need to get treats 3 times a day and warm milk at bedtime. I swear, if I screw up- OMG, what if I missed a treat? what if I pet one more than the other?- they will TELL ON ME. I know it.

At least they are cute.

But its really really windy out here, the kind of wind that tips over semis on the road. Seriously.

It howls and screams, and can totally freak you out when you are all alone, with just 2 cats, at the end of a gravel road in middle of nowhere mountain land.

It doesn't help there are no blinds nor curtains on the windows of the house.

*sigh*

Love y'all.... I will pop in when I can...

Well, if she doesn't put on a man's shirt (most specifically stay away from football jerseys) and run around in her underwear, she should, technically, be safe.

... or go into closed rooms with water seeping out from underneath... especially if you hear weird static noises in the background.

But what if she left the tv on in the bathroom and thinks she might have left the plug in with the shower running?! And what if she got a little cut on her finger while she was carving a pumpkin with a huge butcher knife and she dripped blood on her pants, so she had to take the pants off and now wants to soak them!???
AND WHAT IF SHE THINKS THE CATS MUST HAVE STEPPED ON THE REMOTE AND CHANGED THE CHANNEL AND CAUSED THE STATIC!!?!?!??

AND WHAT IF IT'S TREAT TIME!!??!?!?!???!?!???

Newsflash:

Every overly-hormonal teen on LL is now heading towards MKs location.
