do any of you here wear eyeglasses, or have been wearing them for a while? how do you feel about them? are they convenient? are you more into basic frames, or style frames?

Sags seem to tend to like glasses for some reason. I prefer contacts myself. I like not being bothered by rain, or sudden changes in temperature that fog up glasses. 'Sticking my finger in my eye,' as some people protest doesn't bother me.

yes, i do like glasses, but also because i read a lot, and my prespcription changes at least every 2 years, which i don't mind. I'm actually getting a nice new pair from Chanel's 2007 collection. I'm excited.

I do not mind glasses but cannot wear them. I MUST wear contacts to achieve decent vision.
1/2 inch to 3/4 inch eyeglass lenses distort things too much and I get no depth perception.
If I could use them I would choose the frameless ones with only wings and a nosepiece. I do wear sunglasses in that style with my contacts.

I have worn glasses for years. I don't really like them though. I stopped wearing them for years, but I started wearing them again about a year ago. When I do choose glasses, I like unique ones, in different colours. I also have a stigmatism in my left eye. I wish I could wear contacts, but I can't

don't feel bad i can't wear contacts either, i can't manage them, i just don't like it. I like unique ones too, but i basically like them to compliment my skin tone and my eye color and hair color, and i like a rounded frame. Too many of them are rectangular, especially the designer ones.

They have toric and other types of contacts for astigmatism now-a-days! Hard contacts work for that too! Hard to get used to though.

I wore 'contacts' for about few yrs... amber and silverish grey.... looked qte fascinating ,(a lot of people can testify on it)

but some one who ever complimented on my beautiful eyes... my response was "oh but they are contacts"... Some how contacts was major hit..

some how feeling tht it is an act, a superficiality, too time consuming to feel proud of something tht is not 'me'... vanity is last on my list of priorities.

I wear glasses now,, feel totally comfortable in my very ordinary brown eyes behind the glasses. perhaps it is a sag thing... it gives a nerd look and it is ME afterall.
