i know this is not a technology forum but more people know me here than anywhere else on the internet. besides this is FreeForAll

anway, the sexy iphone has caught my attention ever since i first saw it. it comes in my dreams! i'm planning to buy it when it is launched in asia in 2008.

if anyone of u buys it please let me know how good (cant be bad) the phone is.

This is exactly what's wrong with demographic marketing; You add so much junk into a product to the point that the product can't even do the original task it was made for Lol!

Right now I am skeptical about the whole concept (It sounds promising though; Having a entire multimedia theater in the palm of your hand but I wanna see some hands on reviews from friends and loved ones before actually buying it myself.

heck yes. ur right. probably thats why steve jobs calls it a phone package in an ipod rather the other way round. but if everything goes right, apple alone has the ability to throw nokia and sony ericsson out of the market. motorola stands no chance.

i have not opened the link yet but can say any microsoft wesbite cant be trusted for this matter. they are rivals. and steve balmer, ms ceo, had some bad comments made on iphone. u can check out his video on utube.

Wellll.... probably so but you might not know this but Sony iis planning on realising miniture UMD movie disks specifically designed to run on cell phones and they are specifically gonna launch it with Erricson as a pilot project... Apple has a big challenge ahead of them.

usually, sony ericsson technologies are not as per international standards. that is, they make storage which in compatible only with their own hardware. like the memory stick. anyway, let see. asians have 6 months before iphones launch, enought to read reviews about it by them.

Well that is why the UMD idea was introduced . I don't think Sony would want to apply solid memory tech. in their phones since they want to lauch their phones in coherence with the Movies on Disk.

Brilliant idea IMO. Sony gets a boost to its entertainment section AND it sells phones both at the same time.

i think se's idea is very control freakish. nokia and other companys incorporate flash technology such that the storage cards are exchangable with other devices from other manufacturers
