LOL BR Actually I have had that thought. Thank you for vocalizing it. Dolphins are the horniest mammals on the planet. Most dolphins are very promiscuous. It's probably why they always look they are smiling. Nice thoughts, HSC and I liked that video Yin. IP: Logged |

any theories as to why dolphins would kill a porpoise ? i.e. it wasn't directly for food .. they didn't eat the porpoises they just battered them repeatedly .. it weren't the orkas .. it were the bottle nosed type or similar ( it's left scientists somewhat baffled as to why .. )IP: Logged |

' Dolphin Information Directory '~ http://DolphinNet.org/directory/ ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In New Zealand from 1888 for 24 years, a solitary male Bottlenose Dolphin guided every boat safely accross the dangerous Cook Strait, day & night. In 1978 4 South African fishermen, Kobus Stander & 3 others, were lost in dense fog in treacherous waters, with a visibility of 2 metres. Suddenly, 4 Dolphins surrounded them & began nudging the boat to the left. Realising that the Dolphins were helping them, Kobus steered the boat to the left just in time to hear &, in a gap in the fog, see waves crashing on treacherous rocks. 1 more minute they would have been smashed to pieces! The Dolphins continued to nudge the boat for 90 minutes at which time they circled the boat indicating for them to stop. When the fog lifted, miraculously they found they were back at their home bay! ~~~~~ text from .. ~ http://www.dolphin-synergy.com/lore.html ~ IP: Logged |

10 things you did not know about SEX 1. The typical lovemaking session lasts around 15 minutes: roughly 10 to 12 minutes of foreplay and around 3 to 5 minutes of intercourse.2. Humans aren't the only horny members of the animal kingdom doing it just for fun. Dolphins and a type of chimpanzee called the bonobo have also been observed engaging in sexual activity when they are not in their natural reproductive cycles. 3. While Viagra has made erectile dysfunction (affecting 10 to 12 percent of men) a household phrase, the opposite problem -- premature ejaculation -- is more common (affecting 24 to 27 percent of men). The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is currently reviewing a drug called dapoxetine as a cure for this problem. 4. Crank up that thermostat... orgasms may be more intense in warmer conditions. The degree of vasocongestion, reddening or darkeing of the skin known as the "sex flush," is both more common in warmer temperatures and an indication of how intense an orgasm may be. 5. If a woman experiences orgasm during sex, she is more likely to become pregnant, since orgasmic spasms in pelvic muscles help move sperm up the vaginal canal to the uterus. 6. Homosexuality is not unique to humans. Many species have been observed engaging in homosexual activity, and in fact male bats have the highest rate of homosexuality of all mammals. 7. On any given day 400,000,000 people around the world -- 1 in 17 of us -- will have sexual intercourse. Broken down further, 4,000 people are having sex at any given time. 8. Sex cures headaches. Endorphins released into our bloodstream when we have sex not only give us pleasure but also act as painkillers. Useful information to whip out the next time your partner uses a headache as a reason to say no. 9. Many elderly can and do have frequent sex. At age 70, 73% of males are still potent, and 30% of women 80 or older have still have sex. 10. 70% of women would rather eat choclate than have sex. Yeah it is amazing, LTT I didn't even know that dolphins had belly buttons too. I guess all mammals do. I had a dog once that had an "outie" belly button. HD, I saw on National Geographic once an Orca group just for the heck of it separating a baby humpback whale from it's mother and ramming it to death brutally. Not for food. They just killed the baby and didn't eat it. The mournful cries of the helpless mother were horrible to hear. Seems Orcas do just kill for sport. On the NG show it stated that Orcas do that to train the young Orcas on how to hunt and kill for food. I never understood why on kids cartoons ( Go, Diego, Go ) and their toys are always Orcas. They are the most vicious of all the whale and dolphin family of mammals. I can't figure why the dolphins would kill the porpoise unless they were mating or are territorial. Or unless they were protecting their young. IP: Logged |

"Life's a piece of sh*t, when you look at it" The world is like a ride in an amusement park and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and around and around and it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud. And it's fun - for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question; is this real? Or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, and they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because... this is just a ride."
And yet i feel... there are other dimensions besides this one. IP: Logged |
