We all look up at the same Moon and Stars each night. We all have the same Sun shining during the day. We all have blue skies, clouds, and sometimes rain.

I have food; they don't.
I have shelter; they don't.
I have a job; they don't.
I have education; they don't.
I have family and friends; theirs were killed, or died of starvation.

Yesterday I rented a very powerful, educational movie called "Beyond Borders" starring Angelina Jolie and Clive Owen. The story is about a woman from London who travels to Ethiopia, Cambodia, and Chechnya to assist with humanitarian efforts to refugees who are either starving, need medical attention, or victims of war or poverty. The movie also has an incredibly unique and powerful love story.
At the end of the movie, you can watch the making of the movie, which is extremely interesting, and learn about the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The UNHCR efforts are to assist the over 17 million refugees in countries all over the world who are persecuted due to race, religion, nationality, or political opinion.
In early 2001, Angelina Jolie told the UNHCR that she was very interested in learning more about field assistance. Since then, she has traveled to over 15 countries working in the field as a Goodwill Ambassador, and donated over $3 million dollars of her own money.
Everyone, if you are looking for a great movie to rent and you want to learn more about humanitarian efforts to those less fortuneate than yourself, please rent this movie!
