i hear you hippichick. i don't post here often 'cause i tend to go to the same places in lindaland and forget to look around. so i thought this would be the occasion to look around, in our neighboorhood/area the nature that surrounds us, and to share it with everyone. tell me, how do you see your part of the world.

pictures are very welcome.

these are a few i took recently.

Stunning photos Pire!!!

I adore photography threads!!!

Anybody can post pics from the net, but there is something so special about the ones we have taken on our own, places we have been things we have seen and captured through the camera's eye.

Thanks for sharing, a few of mine, from my collection of hundreds!

Passion Vine finally blooming in a tree in my front yard.

Malaquite Beach, National Seashore, Corpus Christi, TX, one of the last uninhabited shores in the US

Duck in a tree, opened my garage door one morn to find two new friends inhabiting a tree in my front yard (they were very cooperative in letting me photograph them!)

cool pics!

hippichick, the light of the seashore pic is amazing!!! a blue so inspiring.

i will take a break from LL very soon because i need to focus on some real life issues. pressing ones. but i'll keep my camera with me and take some pics where i go, so i'll post them here whenever i come back, probably in few months. it would be interesting to keep a sort of diary of the seasons. winter will be totally white where i live, a bit like in the pics of dee.

dee, snow all year round? i hope not. snow is ok, but just a couple of days i think. i love too much the green.

T, what are those animals? are they wild?
and the last one, the bee is so cute.

node, it's actually a village, people live there everyday, but it has kept something from older times. it's just amazing. the village is beautiful.
zala, i want to see where you live!

Pire the snow usually starts early December until usually May. Then there is a meltdown that sometimes jams the ST Johns river and causes flooding. I'm a hop skip and a jump from Canada

This day...

too buzzed, too, lost, too alone....

but I LOVED it all deep in the heart of Texas!!!

(Gillepsie County, Ferdericksburg, TX, Enchanted Rock, State Park...)

....as i wagged my rear up the rock, very altered, all by myself, with my camera gear...some 1800 feel in elevation..now that is HIGH for us!

Oh nice pics everyone. T, your pics remind me of some of sights I came across during my trip to Algonquin Park. I will share a few pics from that trip when I get a chance.

Meanwhile, here is my own personal slice of heaven .
