 Hi! What about your Sun Sign is Totally YOU? Well, I am a Taurus, and I LOVE animals, nature, and wildlife. I love flowers and plant life, dirt and forrests, etc. I also love baking and cooking. I love baking and eating cookies! What kind? Peanut Butter, and Changa Banga's. (that's Jovette talk for chocolate chip cookies). I also love HOME. Being at home, going to people's homes. Hey, I like your choice of topic, Nepthys! Being a double Libra, most everything in my Sun Sign fits me. Fairness is always an issue. I hate arguments and fights (but love to debate *peacefully* "all night long - with refreshments at intervals!" (as Linda says). I have a sweet-tooth. I sometimes take forever making up my mind, and when someone tries to push me into a quick decision, my mind goes blank. The one thing about my sign that doesnt fit me is that i'm not fickle. I like to think it's because i'm a somewhat advanced Libra, I take love seriously and I am true to my partner. On the whole, I love being a Libra!IP: Logged |

 Hi Meercat! Wow, I really don't know much about Libra's but I guess we have the same ruler? That's so cool that you are not fickle! I can't stand that! Are Libra's kind of loud and they like parties? Because one of my friend's DH is a Libra and he is like that. Loud, and very social and always has parties.

Great question Nephthys, and great thread you started! I just know this one is going to be fun.  Yes, you both seem to have those lovely Venusian qualities...it's your birthright! I have a soft spot in my  for Libras, and my best friend is a Taurus. Gotta love Venus  Hmm...let's see...Okay, these are a few of my Arian qualities: I looooove the color red (my living room is blood red) and I use (wrought) iron probably way too much in my decorating, I have a tendency to be impulsive, but that has usually worked out for me as a plus in the long run, I have a bad temper (only if I'm reaaaly pushed too far), but I don't hold grudges, I'm loyal as loyal can be, I'm a lousy liar, I would rather be caught dead than caught crying, I have that brave facade to project... Fun reading about you!
I`m gemini and I LOVE history of arts, music ,books, Internet, science, computers.
Interested in almost everything. Studying and to learn myself new things. I have a few fobies - driving cars, places with a lot of people paying attention to me! and I NEVER leave messages on answeringmachines.  I am very much a Virgo, even though I have a LOT of fire in my chart.
I'm extremely critical of everyone, especially myself and I can't stand anyone pointing out my flaws. I already know they're there and have chastised myself harshly, so gosh, I hate having them emphasized... 
I am organized, well....in my mind at least!
I love shopping the sale racks at the mall and adore resale stores, if only for the sake of being able to tell myself that I saved so much more than most people and end up looking twice as good (and I don't find people wearing the same shirt, jeans, etc.)
I even bought my "fancy" Homecoming dress for five dollars sophmore year, and with the money I saved, was able to buy really cute shoes (discount of course) and have my hair done. 
I'm unemotional in the sense that I don't show my feelings, so I end up giving everyone, except my true, close friends, the impression that I don't have ANY emotions. I've learned to only use that Virgo "ice-maiden" mask when it's entirely necessary, so it doesn't wear out.  ------------------

I think I embody pretty well the positive aspects of Capricorn which Ms. Goodman describes as determination, stability, wisdom, dependability, sureness and tranquility, and have not fallen prey to the negative ones like selfishness, ruthless ambition, snobbery or narrowness (although my quiet nature in younger years caused accusations of being a snob) ... It doesn't even compute for me others' perceptions that Cappy's are elitist or social climbers tho... I would climb an emotional mountain to attain a goal which is important to me, but mine have never been goals of social standing, or career/financial success, but Love. That said, I will admit I am attracted beautiful things from Nature's art (includes beautiful Men  )to Wo/man's, but it better be practicle  I would rather have nothing if it is not pleasing to my eye or psyche ... I can and do easily mingle with people of what humans percieve as having a higher *social* standing, but I think it's more because they are attracted to *me* - not the other way around! It's true, I would rather hang out in a beautiful house than a shanty - but if the shanty is clean and well kept, I can make myself at home there just as easily I don't know if it's a Cappy trait or not, but I have to admit to being a tad anal about messy-ness - I can't stand it! And if you want to upset the goat, go behind me and mess-up something I've just cleaned! I think that Aquarius asc. tempter comes out then  If you wanna see me go OFF - mess with one of my children  ~Princess PS~ Linda said of Capricorn that we respect authority ... well, maybe that's true for me, so long as it's not imposed upon me - if it is then I am VERY much apposed to it! My whole life I have always thought everyone was *equal* and that *I* am my authority - period! PPS~ It is also true for me that I was always percieved to be *older* than my years in youth - in Jr. High, students thought I was a teacher - but once I reached adulthood, it was and still is just the opposite - no one believes my age. (well, this a.m. they might !!) ------------------

Well, my Virgonesss must also take into consideration my Aries rising and Moon and
Venus in Leo.
I'm incredibly inpulsive sometimes in my actions. (Aries)
I expect friends to be as loyal to me as I am to them. (Leo)
I lack guile/manipulativeness. (Aries)
I am always pretty straight-forward (Aries)(except during my occasional Virgo moment..)
I am honest to a fault, but not to the point of hurting others like my mom with lots of sag AND aries in her chart can do. (Aries)
My pride is one of the most important things to me and I am unforgiving to those who can't respect it. (Leo)
Like Gooberlily, I would rather be caught dead than caught weak. (Aries)As for my Virgo qualities...
Words are always, I mean always, thought out. I will be walking down the hallway to a class and will mentally be deciding what to say upon entering, who to speak to about what. It's incredibly annoying to never be able to shut my brain off. I can never stop thinking, but this ability/skill/curse has also manifested itself in my writing. For example, I am very good at selecting just the right words for the situation, which does contribute to my love for writing poetry. I consider it a strength to be able to put to words any emotion or situation I am experiencing and this pdoes help in sorting everything out. IP: Logged |

This thread IS lots of fun!Nepthys, your friend DH's "Libra-ness" shows in that he like to be social... the "loudness" most likely comes from another part of their chart; myself and most other Libras I know are pretty soft-spoken. And yes, the files on my site are for download. Put 'em on disk! Read 'em at your leisure! Print them out if you're like me and can't stand reading from the monitor for hours at a time! I obviously am a Gemini, and most everything about Gemini applies to me. I love words and knowledge and communication...so this type of forum is just up my ally! I love to learn and I love to read and I love the Internet! I am particularly enamoured with languages. I love to talk, as you can tell by my long posts, and I can often argue either side of an argument, and I like to play devil's advocate. I am flexible and adapt to various situations. I am modified somewhat by my Leo ascendant, but that seems to blend well with Gemini, it makes me more flamboyant and proud and loud and sometimes selfish. I love being the center of attention and I am very outgoing. The Leo does contribute to more of a temper than your typical Gemini. The Gemini is also modified by my Moon, Venus and Mars in Cancer. So I am a lot more emotional than the typical Gemini, and I have a harder time letting go of feelings. The water tends to make me a little more insecure too. I don't really think of myself as being less of a Gemini, just more of other things too!------------------

Hi Lionlamb, maybe you can recognize yourself in some of this. My husband is a double leo to. Having Sun, ascendant and mercury in leo. (moon in taurus)
He is a TRUE leo! He LOVES to hear himself talk,(and he IS a very good talker) a very warm personality, a giving loving type, knows what he wants and how to get it. Likes to spend BIG money. Everything has to be big. Loves art (big pieces)especially modern art. If he has to deal with details and work hard for a long time, he gets really ill. Then he has to sleep for days, goes a lot to the movies and does a lot of shopping and brings home new technical-gadgets. He is very fun to be with, I am never bored. (And geminis do get bored easily)
There are one thing we argue a lot about, and that is fashion, style, art and how things should look\appear. Like our house or me! This is a very hot subject in our family. But there my libra ascendant conjunct uranus steps on the break.
He is very protective about his family and his loved ones. always helping out or giving advices, and really good at bringig up kids. Being emotionally mature, and a high standard of moral. Unlike me he is not afraid of anything. Very confident.
He is very good at making people do things for him. And they dont mind. But he gives a lot back. People like doing things for him.
Well, that is my king. I love leos!

Yes Randall, I think the ascendant is the real you in the way that - all you do is coloured by the sign on your ascendant. Everything in horoscope has to go trough this point.

Well, I have a Sag sun. My worst trait was I used to say things before I thought about it...put my foot in my mouth as it were. It took a while (and I still slip), but I try not to say anything before I think first. Also, I can talk to people anywhere. I can get a whole group conversation going in a check out line  Love nature, good with animals...
things like that. But I agree with Randall. I tend to be cautious like my Cappy rising. In fact, for the past few years I have noticed being more Cappyish than Sagish as I have become organized....and really am starting to care about how my surroundings look. I noticed my husband is a bit more in groups like his Leo rising, but more like his Cancer sun at home and with family. I am the opposite. I am more of a Sag in groups and more quiet and conservative at home. But then again, there is that Cancer moon I have which makes me a homebody more than a gad-about. So where are we then? ------------------
