Hi to all Hmmmm, I been wondering if it is possible to work out anything in a birth chart to see if one would be inclined to get tattoos.I have three, one on my shoulder blade, one on my left ankle and the other one on my left breast. They are all fairly small Beleive it or not I actually got them all to cover up dots and crosses etc, that I did to myself in art class with indian ink, back in high school. Now admittedly if I had my time again I would probably chose not to have them, but as I hate to live with any regrets, they really don't cause me any major stress. My hubby has both of his lower legs covered from the knee down and I just love them. They really are a beautiful peice of artwork, be it a very expensive piece! So, what are your veiws on tatoos, do you like them, hate them, have them? And I'd be interested to know if anyone would know what to look for in a chart re; tattoos, if this is at all possible. Just another crazy question that entered my brainbox poops IP: Logged |

Usually if they have some Aquarius in there chart they would probably get tatoos. They would probably lack conservative signs like Capricorn, Virgo, and Taurus. IP: Logged |

Hm... I love really nice, well done tatts on guys - My b/f's a Taurus with a ton of tattoos, but he has an Aqua asc (so that could explain it)... BUT he's in the Navy, so it's kind of a tradition to get tattoos, and being a bull I guess he's inclined to stick to tradition. When I was in Portland for a few weeks this spring I saw the perfect tatt (the sanskrit ideogram "maya") and I decided where I'd like to get it (at the base of my spine), I just have to work up the courage and the cash to get it...and the hope that I won't second guess it down the line. But, with my Aqua moon and 1st house Uranus I'll probably come down on its side. Corri IP: Logged |

I love tattoos. I have two. One on my spine on my lower back of an ankh that's about 4 inches high. One on my right inner wrist of a Japanese symbol meaning "enchanting/bewitching/charming"IP: Logged |

StarLover, your explanation about the Aquarian planets makes sense Hubby has an Aquarius Asc, and Merc and Venus in Aqua and I have Venus in Aqua, plus 3 planets in the 11th house Our son is having his eyebrow peirced today ! Two years of nagging has finally paid off No Aqua planets for him, just lots of Leo, Sun, Merc and Mars! Intersesting poops IP: Logged |

Hi PoopsStar's explanation does make sense : I have a celtic moon on my ankle and my husband has a tattoos on both his arms. He is aquarius sun and I have aquarius rising. I just wish it wasn't so expensive, then I'd have a lot more! Regards Moonshadow IP: Logged |

Hi Leo My son who just had his eyebrow pierced is a Leo sun also, as well as Mercury and Mars there too! I just Love Leo's, they make me laugh. Most tattoo shops would be able to draw you up a design freehand, if you can afford it. Good Luck.... poops IP: Logged |

Hey Prox, Did you get yours done in Southeast Portland? I had mine done out there by a guy name Diamond. He was great..cute too. LOL Must be something out Portland and Tattoos. I guess I should add that I have a Virgo rising conjuncting my Virgo Pluto and I also have a Capricorn Mercury. The only air sign in my chart is my Uranus - Libra in the first house. ------------------ "Loyalty to petrified opinion never yet broke a chain or freed a human soul in this world--and never will."

I have an Aquarius Ascendant and a lack of major earth influences, but NOOOOO tattoos for the very simple reason I am afraid of pain, lol. A friend of mine (Leo) went to get a tattoo in the small of her back and she asked me to come with her for support. The moment that needle/pencil/not sure what the heck it was started humming (sounded like a dentist drill to me) I was OUT the door and waiting in the car! I tried to examine why I won't get a tattoo and it came down to my dislike to having something artificially and permanently stamped on my body. I know, weird. Don't get me wrong, I find tattoos fascinating and it is definitely an art form. But, alas, not for me.IP: Logged |

I loooooooove tattoos on guys. Sleeves especially. So hot (DSC ruler in 11th house maybe?).For people my age (Pluto in Scorpio), it is really common to have tattoos, so I don't think "conservative" sign placements have a lot to do with it. My Cap Sun/Virgo Rising/Virgo moon bff has several, same with a friend of mine who is a double Cap/Virgo moon. As soon as you turn 18, it's kind of like a rite of passage. I only have one, that I got on my 18th birthday. I'm an Aqua sun. I want more, but I haven't gotten around to it. I want the symbol for Mercury (chart ruler) behind one of my ears, and a tiara made out of bones (haven't decided where to put it yet) or a space unicorn (lol). My friend with the most tattoos (huge zombie on her back, zozobra on her left arm near her shoulder, one on the inside of her right arm, one on her wrist, a picture of her cat's face on her calf) is a Scorp sun and moon (don't know what her rising is). I have always LOATHED tattoos. And I am an Aqua...and yet...the past few months I have been toying with the idea of getting a salamander tattooed down my spine. Is there any strange astrological explanation for this? Why a salamander? Why now at an age, when theoretically I should need a tattooed list of medications I may need!!!

I'm sceptical as to whether there is going to be a trend for tattoos on birthcharts. They're not exactly a rariety these days. It's a fashion thing ~ throw a stone you'll hit ten people who've got them. I've got a couple, one is on my arm. No-one looks at me twice. You'd have to have a few Amy Winehouse numbers for that. I agree Blue moon, I have quite a few... No one knows I have them and I like it that way. Because EVERYONE has them. It's not out of the norm at all. I honestly regret them. I was a teenager. Even though it was becoming popular few people I knew had them. I even had a ton of piercings. The older I get the more I wish I had made smarter choices LOL I should of listened to my mother! oOohh ..!!! I absolutely LOVE tattoos, I have 8 and will keep on getting more till my granny days The first one I got was when I was 16 and Im' 23 now. I've never done it due to a fashion thing. It's painful to see ppl who get them just cause everyone does. Besides in my country wasn't something common for a teenager to have one back in that time. Just then it became a fashion thingy. I regards tattoos as a whole map in my body. Every single one of them represent something VERY important for me..a moment of time, a thought, an expression of an idea or feeling. Talking about Aquarian placements, I'm an Aqua ASC. And being a Cancer sun, I guess, influence my charged feelings for each one I have IP: Logged |
