Topic: Saturn + your previous incarnation...

G’Day  I was reading a book yesterday, and in it the author said that the sign in which Saturn is in on your natal chart is the sun sign which you were in your previous life… For example, on my natal chart Saturn is in Libra – so in my previous incarnation, my sun sign was Libra… Any comments? Has anyone heard this before? Love and Light

I have a book like that too. It's called Astrology and your past lives (Explore past reincarnations through Saturn's placement in your chart) by Jeanne Avery (author of the Rising sign) It's pretty good so far. I'm only a fourth of the way through. IP: Logged |

Finding that equally weird, because my N.Node is in Aries, as well as Saturn. I've heard more than once, your South Node is where you've been, and your North Node is where you're going. So, that blows the N.Node being your previous sign theory out of the water, it would make more sense if Saturn was conjunct my S.Node, Libra, but it's not, it's conjunct my N.Node. Also, I've read that your MOON sign indicates your past life experience. (instincive "knowings", knee-jerk responses, phobias, etc....makes sense to me that this kind of stuff is the result of conditioning from a previous life - I dunno) IP: Logged |

All I know about past lives, is that I had one. I have very clear memories of being someone else, and my family has had dreams of me as this same woman without me telling them. I know she was very punishing as a person and strictly disciplined. I know her physical characteristics and have always been attracted to men who look like her because she is so familiar to me now. Long black hair, and black eyes and tall.She fits a Scorpio or Leo type, my south node is Virgo and she could have been a Virgo as they can be punishing too. My family used to say when they did something wrong to me, they would dream about her punishing them. She was Asian and had long fingernails, and liked to wear red and bright colours. That's all I know. I did speak chinese too when I was a child according to my babysitter who found out what I was saying. I would speak names of gods and people.
These things have been documented by my family who are pretty rational people, but trusting and believing. Luckily they were religious so they were open to new ideas. Still I do not know what sign she was, only that she was a very strong woman, who had a punishing streak in her and could see everything. I would vote for an earth or water sign, but fire signs have strong egos too. My moon is cancer/8th house, and Venus is in the 4th house, Neptune is in the 12th. I feel close to Pisces, Aries, and Scorpios very strongly. I know other people have had past life experiences, but they usually are pretty dramatic, mine is not, I only remember her as an old woman, but she lived a long time and maybe she didn't want to let go? Or maybe I was seeing into someone's mind as a child? I was able to hear and understand english around me at 6months, how could I do that unless I heard from someone's mind? I think we are psychic until a certain age, but I still have always been curious about that woman, who we all dreamt about. To this day I am always attracted to men with her type of features, Natasha

And i'm another one with SN and Saturn in same sign -- Virgo.Lol -- been spending most of my life trying to get away from (SN) what i HAVE to (saturn) do?? I am so confused -- lol. So i just stay my butt home in 4th with all happy Pisces NN conjunctions. IP: Logged |

Where can you find out where your north and south nodes are? At astro.com they only gave me a "True Node" and I'm not sure whether that's supposed to be north or south.IP: Logged |

Astro.com gives accendant and decendants. You need time of birth for it. Not sure why you didnt get one on yours. Lioneyes, As for saturn determining what you were. This is the first I've read of it. Was taught it showed karma for past life. In relating to comparison charts.
I too known it as south/north nodes as you wrote.
So here I go again with the scorp thing....It's gotten comical. lol
My north node dictating what I am to become.
So all these scorp lessons and scorps in my life......My teachers. That makes me a scorpio in training. Bull in a china shop? as I was recently accused of by another Scorp. Makes sense!

Thanks ya'll. I never noticed that my Lindaland initials looked like a cuss word, but by golly, they do!OK...so if Saturn tells of your last life, I was Capricorn. Hmmm...doesn't seem right somehow. If South Node is it...I was Aries. That is interesting. I have no planets in Aries now, plus my 9th house is in Aries and it is empty. Does that mean I learned my Aries lesson last time & no sense going through that again? Also my son is Aries and we get along great, so maybe I learned some things in my Aries life that enables me to understand him. I wonder. IP: Logged |

Me too, Niki. I have saturn and south node in virgo, + saturn is my chart ruler - 8th house. If I were a virgo in my past life, I have learned my lessons well. I am extremely organized, hard-working, and focused on completing tasks. Virgos seem to gravitate to me. IP: Logged |

My Saturn is in Taurus and practically all of my planets (including Virgo South Node) are in my 2nd house. I had a dream not too long ago where I was attached to Henry Fonda, but also attracted to Jimmy Stewart. When Henry found out, he got rid of me. I did look up the sign of Margaret Sullavan (Fonda's first wife) and found that she was indeed a Taurus. Interesting! Sincerely,

oiy vey! I'm a scorp sun/merc/venus/nep and s node.I feel I was a scorp in a previous incarnation. I'm hopelessly magnetized to a man who's scorp sun/merc/venus/nep--and it's the most intense karmic association (other than my crazy ex hub--scorp moon) that I've had in this life. I still don't know what to make of it.
My saturn is in Pisces, but I'm more strongly identified with my scorp AND my taurus moon and nn interesting. . . IP: Logged |

I've heard about Saturn in regards to karma, but what I've always understood is that the closet planet to your midhaven is the ruler of your last life.. Any thoughts on that?IP: Logged |

I dont' think I've ever heard that, but I find it most interesting. My moon in in Aquarius, and the planet closest to my mid heaven is Uranus. Weird and interesting. I've read that your moon sign represents your most recent past life experience. It doens't mean that you were that sign, but your life had that "flavor". Like if your moon is Aries, you may have been a trailblazer/warrier/entreprenuerial type in your most recent past life, and it was the experiences that came from that which shaped your life.IP: Logged |
