My sun sign is Leo with Aquarius rising.
My north node is in Leo and the south node in Aquarius.

The South node means our past and the North node means the future, or the objectives of this reincarnation.
So, there's any relation between Leo sun sign & North Node and Aquarius rising & South Node ?

Should I reinforce the aspects of Leo in this incarnation and definitively discard the " defects " of Aquarius ?

What I'm saying make sense?

You will subconsciously be using the Aquarius from the past to integrate it with the Leo of the now. Even though opposite, they are complementary, being that they are part of a whole. At times one side will show itself, just like you have a whole hand, but you only see the palm at one time or the back of the hand at one time.

Each sign has a part of it's opposite in it, and this is what blends to make wholeness. The south node is our past, both the good or bad, we have those characteristics and taking the good and using them is important.

If you have an Aquarius Ascendant that places your north node in either the 6th or 7th house.

I am somewhat divergent in my beliefs of the nodes and see them much more objectively at first glance. I agree with Donna- they are both parts of the whole and need each other in order to maintain the balance of the opposition. However, when one thinks of two points in opposition, one should try to calculate how powerful each of those points are, for if one side is more powerful then that emphasis may cause a slight imbalance. It does not matter which node one refers to... is your Sun conjunct your n. node (less than 5 deg), or is it merely in the same sign? If they are conjunct, then your n. node is receiving more emphasis and I would suggest some focus on your south node and house placement. This is, of course, barring other aspects of your chart. If, for instance, you have a fixed T-square and you are missing Leo to balance it out, then focusing on Leo would help you immensely.

The idea that the south node equals past or separation and the north, future or attraction has yet to be proven. If both nodes are meant to be used and balanced, then they would both represent your future.
Hopefully, research in this area will skyrocket during the next few years and we will have a better idea. I am trying to help it along as best I can.

My north node is in the 7th house and south node in the first as Lanny said.
I still have some questions and I also want to make some comments...but I'm totally out of time today.
Tomorrow I'll be free and I hope that we can continue our discussion.

I agree with you. The signs even being opposed, and maybe for this reason, are complemented.
I have a lot of Aquarius, for being my ascendant and a lot of Leo for being my sun sign. But for also having the north node in Leo, I got the impression that I should reinforce the Leo characteristics. It is just an intuition, nothing else.

Why do you believe that I am using, in a subconscious way, an integration of Aquarius-past- with Leo-present ?
Please,help me... now I have one more doubt.

As you can see , I have exactly what you said . North node in the 7th house and south node in the first.
But I was born in 1962...

I don't have any important aspect in relation to my nodes, no that I know.

Everything that I learned - almost nothing btw - about the nodes, in karmic astrology said that the north node is a symbol of spiritual power and integration. It depicts the future and represents how new learning experiences can lead to personal growth.

The south node, represent the sum total of knowledge that we have carried over from the past. As a symbol of the past, the south node represents a resource, innate talent, or ability with which we have been born, and it often expresses itself at an early age. Thus, we can use our south node skills to enhance our lives .
Our strength comes from what we carry over from the past. Because south node functioning seems so natural, easy, and comfortable, we are vulnerable to overemphasizing these qualities and thus can get stuck there.

Problems arise when we remain fixated in the South Node's realm and avoid the path of future development depicted by the North Node.

Don't you agree with this vision of the nodes ?

true. have been wondering and thinking about the nodes myself .

i see it as a seesaw that necessitates the finding of the point of balance between the gifts of the past and the path of the future.
