I feel as though I have been called to astrology. More specifically, I feel as though it is my destiny to bring astrology to people everywhere as a tool to help them understand and relate to the people around them. I want to do my part to end the stigmatization of this ancient art of cause and effect. To that end, I am studying astrology on my own (as I can't afford classes) and would like to know ifA) Anyone has any advice. B) Anyone is looking for a talented apprentice (I'm not saying that my talents are in astrology mind you..: ) ) C) Delineating a horoscope is actually as difficult as it appears to be. (More difficult than writing software..from where this ex-software engineer sits!) Thank you so much for any advice or help! Daf IP: Logged |

No, I suppose I should be.Really the technical and raw data aspects are proving really easy for me. It´s the intuitional aspect thats kicking my to0sh. Putting it all together as a coherent picture when each planet/sign/house combination provides so many possible interpretations even within the context of the entire horoscope. Is this simply lack of experience? The last thing I want to end up as is a cookbook astrologer. I am SERIOUSLY dedicating my life to astrology.(Wow, sounds strange when I say it like that.) Not sure how much time that gives me to get good enough to be helpful to people and to the art/science. Daf P.S. I'll sign up right away. IP: Logged |
