Thanks Donna

I was reading in a book about karmic astrology that when a person has 4 or more retrograde planets , she is an "old soul".
And if Neptune is retrograde, problably this person lived in Atlantis.
Just to share

Then I am as old as the hills. I've got 5 retrograde planets, including Neptune. On the other topic I started under unaspected planets someone also said that means an old soul. I'm ancient. LOL

Hi Donna
Thanks for posting that - very interesting.

Hmmm past lives.
I'm going to try to find a report that an astrologer did for me about 2 years ago. He said that I was a "highly evolved soul" - when I asked him why he said because of the number of aspects to the outer planets. Well from memory that's what I think he said. I'll rummage it out and post it here.
What're your thoughts on that?
Sue

OK found it.........

Here's what he said.....

I said you were an advanced soul because you have so many aspects among the outer planets -- Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus --
and because Pluto was in the 12th House, which is the house of spirituality and mysteries poorly understood by most human
beings, and because the position of Mars indicated you were in this lifetime completing a whole evolutionary cycle of the soul.

Jakie, that is interesting, do you remember the name of the book?

Bisse, you probably were!

Alena, as old as the hills!

Sue, Pluto being the higher octave of Mars, and them being together this lifetime indicates a melding of accumulated knowledge in previous lifetimes. Also, interest in psychology, using abilities carried over, all 12th house matters. It is interesting he said "mysteries poorly understood my most human beings" because the mind is still the most probed and least understood. Cayce attributes Pluto to pertaining to matters of the Consciousness. I would say awareness is what you have!! Definitely an old soul.

Corri, I think you meant Sue, didn't you?
But, I can say that Pluto in Scorpio in the 12th means you had psychic abilities in a previous life but didn't share them, now it is up to you to share and inspire others.

Ack, so I did. And my Pluto's in Libra, not Scorp; I'm just throwing out all kinds of mess-ups.

Thanks for your help, though
But, I can say that Pluto in Scorpio in the 12th means you had psychic abilities in a previous life but didn't share them, now it is up to you to share and inspire others
If you have some time lying around, could you elaborate?

Corri,

Well, Libra presents a bit of a different picture. A past life of being too fond of pleasures, superficially, not involving oneself in heart mattters. Still pyschic ability, but you could be more inclined now to pursue the hidden and real meanings of life.

Hm. Something to mull over.
Thank you Donna.

Could I ask one more left-field question?

What thuh heck could someone have done in a past life to incarnate w/ a 7th House Venus in Taurus Conjunct Chiron?
I mean, ack.
(Yeah, I know, I'm dwelling on this...but, ACK).
Or could whatever lessons that lie there be disconnected from the past (if that's possible...esp. w/ a gazillion retrograde planets...well, OK, six, but that's enough)?
Was Carlo right in the other post? Am I doomed to be an irreconcilable sap?
But I can only get so frustrated about whatever's there - I just become self-mocking. (What are you mad at, girl? The UNIVERSE? YOURSELF? That's RIDICULOUS!)
Or could it actually be a good thing (insofar as I'm terribly lazy, so anything that I've got to work at will be labeled "bad" until I get kicked in the butt and am forced to confront it, and anything easy will be "good")?
Could it account for the wonderful and refreshing naivete with which I stumble into relationships (and I say "wonderful and refreshing" because "an accident waiting to happen" sounds too negative)?

It's late. I'm getting a lil' loopy now. G'night.

"Karmic Astrology - Edgar Cayce's astrology and the knowledge of the past lives through the natal charts."
Dorothée Koechlin de Bizemont -

In this book we can find a lot of information about the nodes. The author shows the natal charts of Hitler,Mussolini,Gandhi, etc
It's really a great book for past lives.

Jakie, is that the same book as I've ordered in French?
Cat, we'll miss you next time around! What's your March position for the astrologer to say this?
Donna, two questions (while I wait for the books I've ordered to arrive..):
If Saturn shows the former Sun placement...let's say as a Virgo I once was a soldier in the army of Alex. In my most recent former life, I was an Aquarius. Does that show that maybe I was in the lost Atlantis? (I stay in this region..)
Do you have any information on unaspected Sun?
What about Pluto 1st house?
(OK, as usual I just pose too many questions..don't feel obliged to answer them all, I could do some search, too..But THANKS for sharing your knowledge).

Hey Stella
You'll miss me next time round......
Well as Arnold says "I'll be back"

"What's your March position for the astrologer to say this?"
Not sure what you mean, can you explain?

Here's some info for you on an unaspected Sun....

Unaspected Sun
Natives with an unaspected Sun have difficulty in finding themselves, in discovering who they are and what they really want in life. They do not realise in how bent they are in having their own way or how they keep pushing themselves forward in and out of season. Initially, they fail to see that this is what they are doing.
The creative urge is great, and they are full of pep and vital energy, but their enthusiasm comes and goes. At one moment, the unaspected Sun glows warm and bright and, at another, recedes behind a cold, dark cloud of uncertainty. Often these natives will act in a purposeful and independent fashion when feeling anything but purposeful and independant. Their insecurity drives them on; possibly until ordinary honorable ambition becomes power-lust. And yet, in spite of these traits, they have difficulty in holding their own. An unaspected Sun can indicate indentity problems in either sex.

In females horoscopes, an unaspected Sun frequently implies problems with the father or husband. The native may even go to one extreme to the other in her choice of partner. Examples are known to me of women who have fallen in love first with very dominant men and then with weaklings.

Soooo what do you think????

Sue

I am and was born and raised in California and knew there was something special about it that I was drawn to, more than the fact that I had been born and raised there, I feel so magnetically drawn to that whole region..neat!

The indentity problems definetly is me. Not to mention trouble with daddy and hubby - I can't believe my husband forgot to take out the carbage! Again!
Actually, I was wondering if Donna had any information regarding past lives indicated by an unaspected Sun...
As for your Mars. You quoted the astrologer:
"..,and because the position of Mars indicated you were in this life time completing a whole etc.etc"..Where is your Mars (if you don't mind?)

Hi stella,

An unaspected Sun indicates someone who was a prominent authority figure in a past lives and is here to learn to use this to avoid ego inflation and domineering attitudes. It is an honor bestowed in this lifetime and it shows through being vital, powerful and constitutionally strong individuals.

that's actually a little eerie because I'm an Aries and I've been having strange dreams about Nazi Germany.

Interesting!

Thank you, Donna! I'm so happy that this ite exists, it's wonderful of you all to share your knowledge and participate in the discussions.
Cat, I presume it's Pluto and Mars TOGETHER in the 12th house that indicates that you have completed the evolutionary cycle? I've Mars in 12th, but I still believe I have some more rounds to do...What about the cusp of the 12th house? I thought that indicated "karmic debt"?
