through some investigation of some of my friends charts, I have discovered that most of us have an empty 12th...how odd is that?I've been told that an empty 12th is symbolic...that it's your last time here or that you're going to be immortal and I just find it odd that my closest friends all have empty `12th's. A lot of people in this generation have an empty 12th. Although many astrologers would disagree with me about its implications, it's a great time to be alive. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." what do you mean by "that it's your last time here or that you're going to be immortal"? If you have planets in the 12th or if you don't? 12th house is the subconscious, right? IP: Logged |

if you don't have any panets in the 12th (I don't) it means it is your last time here...meaning you're here for an extra special purpose or that you will be immortal.I've been told that Lilith (in Aries) is in my 12th but I don't think that counts. IP: Logged |

I appear to have nothing in the 12th....or 11th for that matter eitherbeing the eternal pessimist - i'd say it probably the last time we'll be here (booom!) IP: Logged |

Randall..what do you mean that many astrologers would disagree with you about it's implications?I just had a VERY morbid thought about what an empty 12th means regarding "armageddon"...will those with the empty 12th be those that will die (eternal death) as Revelations states that during Armageddon that's when it will be decided who lives an dies? FC, I don't believe in Armageddon. Cat, an active 12th probably just means that you will have an interesting Life (working on all those past Life issues). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Financechick Sorry for my "mad" sense of humour but your post made me giggle.No.....just because you have an empty 12th does not mean your life won't be interesting. I truely believe that life is what we make it (we always have free will) - just sometimes our natal chart can give us slightly more of a roller coaster ride Do you believe that we choose our natal chart? I personally must admit to sometimes wondering about that. I totally believe in re-incarnation BUT sometimes I do wonder "What was I thinking" when I chose this chart. What are your thoughts about your own chart? Hmm just had a thought...maybe we should start a new string about that? I'll do it now. Sue

FC, boring? Not at all! Just not as many unpredictable ups and downs as someone still reacting to many past Life issues at one time. As I'm sure you can attest to, your Life has been anything but boring, FC. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." N_wEvil you made me ...Boooom! I don't believe in statements as such yet I don't disbelieve it at the same time. Maybe I don't believe in statements all together. Interesting statement though! Some also say this about one having no retrograde planets. I sure do hope this is my last time, I wanna fly again! There's too many restrictions on earth. But I also believe that we are travelling all over for instance when we sleep, parallel universes etc..So that's why to me the excistance, the one we think we 'are' is not only on this planet, we (or parts of us) excist simultaneously somewhere else. We excist! Well I find it hard to describe my thoughts on this. It is too abstract for me to explain. (Neptune in 3 ) My south node is in 12 btw in Virgo. IP: Logged |

I didn't know that the 12th house signifies (is connected with) your past life. Is that so, Cat? Is it not only the South Node? And if so, what does Mercury in the 12th house mean? But I agree that you choose your life/your chart. I certainly feel that. Life shows me every day what I must yet learn and in my chart I see the same. I know what I should do, but I'm rebelling against it. Do you guys have the same problems? shine on! IP: Logged |

Hi Morgana Here's a link to string that discussed some 12th house issues. I think you'll find it interesting. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000578.html Sue IP: Logged |
