I would like to invite any Knowflake who has had an intimate relationship with their opposite sign, to create a poem regarding your experience, and to post it here. If you are a Cancer male, please still do one for the Capricorn girl you were or are still with, even if a Cancer girl already does a poem on a Cappy guy. Maybe together we can do all opposites, both sexes, and have the making of a new book of poetry, a follow-up to Venus Trines at Midnight

So...if I had an ounce of poetic ability I could probably write about love gone sour...or just my naivity...

but i'll take a stab anyway:

*clears throat*

Roses are red
violets are blue
That Leo's selfish to a tee
with an ego the size of Peru!

okay, here is one by Linda Goodman, writing about a Gemini guy as if she were an Archer girl...

I've only had one husband
but he had two heads

He was a Gemini
and my astrologer warned me that we were square
to each other

Boy! You can say that again!
Before he broke the news, he killed a quart of booze
all by himself
(He found the bottle on the shelf behind the china piggy
bank where I should have known better than to hide it)

But in spite of all that rye
he didn't even slur his words when he said goodbye
or seem to be grieving
He sounded like Basil Rathbone
"So long, dear Duchess, I'm leaving"

I said "Good Riddance"
and I meant it
who needs all those charming lies?

(he had such gentle, dark brown eyes)

So he took his LP of Der Rosenkavelier
the shells we gathered last Summer at the Pier
his golf clubs - his copy of Roget's Thesaurus
and split

That was last night

Today I was cleaning the garbage out of his desk
(I don't know why)
and I came across this verse he wrote

He was probably on a vodka high
I mean he must have been really smashed
as drunk as a skunk
to write that kind of junk
It doesn't even rhyme
Just listen

"Into the dream you came
and across the soft carpet of my reverie you walked
with hobnail boots"

Thanks...I am a modest lioness... aquarius's effect. Therefore I don't have words to thank you guys.

I'm happy that you understood the essence of what I tried to say. You didn't pay attention in the grammar mistakes, or if a sentence was well built or not.
English is not my language, what makes everything more difficult.
