Is there are really scientific explanation for astrology? Can astrologers explain how twins are born a few seconds apart, yet they're so different in personality?I have my own ideas here, but I wonder what other people think? ------------------ No longer mourn for me when I am dead Than you shall hear the surly sudden bell Give warning to the world that I am fled From this vile world, with vilest worms to dwell. -Shakespeare IP: Logged |

I think this material existence (or Maya) is very convoluted. Astrology gives us warning or an insight to us. What actions we take is recorded in Karma. No one can change the end result, its all pre written by Brahma the supreme Lord of this material world. But we should be wise as humans and try to elevate come out of animal nature and come out of material existence and go to the next level called transcendence(very few people make it there). Every soul is discreet and unique, and will continue to exist till end of time(which there is none). Whether this solar system remains or not.

supreme lord, pah.no offense intended, of course, but if a so-called "supreme lord" exists he must the personification of utter and absolute evil - because there's no excuse. the means DO NOT JUSTIFY THE ENDS in the cases of many lives lived on this planet. but its quite possible for a random sequence of event to begin stucturing themselves in an orderly manner. astrology is a method, in my beleif, an instrument that is part of the larger picture physics is beginning to touch on. It can be shown using the Sidereal Zodiac methodology, but like any other metaphysical study, the opponents to Astrological science would probably reject any truth that was shown them. At least this has been my experience. This is the reason I do not attempt to prove anything to any one, any more. If they are interested enough so that a common syntax can be established, then I or others, can show them.IP: Logged |

Hi Queen,Well, The Magi Society have written a book entitled Astrology Really Works and they go to great lengths to back up everything they say with actual charts and explanations. I have found what they teach to be accurate, and compared to traditonal astrology, pretty reliable. If you haven't had a chance to check out their website, here is the link. www.magiastrology.com Donna IP: Logged |

I suppose the worst criticism, and the least called for, comes from a few medical scientists who use arguments that are no longer scientifically valid and are unworthy of their own status in the world of science. But scientists generally love to argue, and it is rare that a group of scientists is in complete accord, even when talking about their own field. I always wonder why some scientists are so reluctant to study astrology, yet are so ardent in refuting it. For instance, if they feel it is a superstition, long dead and buried, why bother to bring it up so frequently? If it is nonsense, then someone should examine it thoroughly and come up with a valid thesis against it. I defy any thinking person to study astrology seriously for a year and still maintain that it is not valid. Astrology is based on the laws of the universe that are the very laws of science, of action and reaction, and of cause and effect. ~ Sybil Leek, Pisces Sun, Virgo Moon My Life in Astrology, 1972
