Greetings...Well I always like to say that Astrology is just God's handwriting on the wall, and we astrologers are the interpreters. So I would say that God CREATED Astrology, and man has found out how to interpret its symbols. Blessings. Aselzion IP: Logged |

These are my favorite definition of Astrology:Astrology is the study of how the earth interacts with its cosmic environment. ... As the intersection of Astronomy, Mathematics and Psychology, we arrive at our second definition of Astrology: Astrology is a mathematical psychology based on astronomy. - Henry Weingarten, The Study of Astrology Astrology is an acausal phenomenon. ... A horoscope is the equivalent of a mathematical formula. It is the mathematical pattern to which one human life functions. - Carl Payne Tobey IP: Logged |

Astrology is definitely created by God. No person or thing can create such an amazing map of the stars. Just like no one can create this wonderful world. Astrology is beyond our imagination and our brainpower. We just examine and study something that is already here, before and after us it will be here.IP: Logged |

I dont know who created the planets, lets say God. Humans created astrology by noting the movement of the planets. At least I think it was humans Humans created astrology, the study of the planets and its influence on human life.

Belief is what it is. Love to believe and astrology is the reason to believe in something, whether it be God or whatever. But saying God created the planets is a big statement to make, something that cannot be backed up by proof. If you have no belief in the big guy/girl, no matter. Join the club. I sit on the fence until someone provides proof. No-one can do that.IP: Logged |

One of the first astrologers was Ptolemy, who created the zodiac signs; the first two signs correlates to yin and yang: Cancer (moon/ yin) and Leo (sun/ yang). I read this in Horoscope Symbols by Robert Hand, which I should suggest reading, it really is a useful source for knowing the basis of the zodiac.IP: Logged |

"The sages created Vedic astrology to help human beings understand the cycles of their lives based on karma they'd created in previous incarnations. The horoscope was designed as a kind of report card for the soul that summarized their level of accomplishment up to the moment they were born. It revealed the karmic status of different areas in their life such as family, romance, career, finances, and spiritual growth. It also showed when particular karmas from the past were most likely to manifest in the course of their life. And because Vedic astrology helped people see into blind spots in the past and future, it was called Jyotir Vidya in Sanskrit, meaning "the science of light," or simply Jyotish ("light")." http://www.esamskriti.com/html/new_essay_page.asp?cat_name=prabuddha&cid=1061&sid=173 ------------------ I'm mad, you're mad, we're all mad. - Cheshire Cat IP: Logged |
