OK, we all go and wait for the big bang when some of the slower planets in transit are hitting a natal planet. But does that necessarily happen? And does it happen where you expect it to happen? Or is it just an ordinary day...??!
I absolutly feel the Moon most of all.

Hiya Stella

I have just been discussing some of those things on my post. When the slower planets hit one of your natal's and a faster one on top of it hits the same planet as well it is sort of like an event is most likely to happen which has the character of the planets involved but that is said too simple. There are many factors involved, like midpoints and such.
Like in my case with Saturn, now when Mars hit it as well I feel it like a BIG BANG sort of.
I also feel the Moon very well!

Anyone here ever track transits of Mars to all your natal Planets? It is a terrific thing to do, and much more useful than Moon transits, since the Moon moves so frikkin fast. Why track your moods every couple three days, when the Moon changes signs, too much agony to be that moody. Stabilize your moods to a 1-2 weekly, like-clockwork-predictable two-year pattern, rather than a 2-3 day monthly one. You can read more about it here:

http://lovestarz.com/zzservices.html

or get the book Transits - The time of Your Life by Betty Lundstead.

If you want, I will give a sample lesson for one person so everyone can do it by and for themselves and for loved ones any old time you like (though it is work, a good half hour studying carefully your ephemeris). It's good for two years, Mars regular orbit around the Sun; well, one year, eleven months and three and a half weeks actually, yet good enough for knowflake work.

Any brave volunteers? Please describe why you think you should be the Guinea pig. This may take me a week or two to complete, yet will be so accurate and eye-opening. Students who wish to learn this method for consultation purpose will need to have an ephemeris handy for the next two years. I offer this service to others for $15 here who prefer not to volunteer and to keep things confidential (not a plug!)

Love,
Carlo

one state is called "OK"
the other state is called "dont go there"

its a low year at the moment (usually starts mending again in spring, aroundabout april). I would volunteer but im loaded down with work right now and im sure there are more interesting people do do it on

okay Jakie, you will be the New Year's sacrifice lol

Me 18 Vi
Ve 13 Li
Ma 29 Ge
Ju 09 Pi
Sa 06 Aq
Ur 00 Vi

These are the categories we are going to track:

High Energy

Super Sensitive

Talk Too Much

In Love With Love

Bad Buying Cycle

Problems With Men, Authority Figures, Legal Matters

Super Impulsive

Perception Loss

Unconscious Anger

Transits signify periods of growth. If we wish to use the transit period for our growing, we need to begin when the seeds of the transit are planted. First the ground has to be tilled, then the seeds are planted - and even if we don't want potatoes, we still have to oversee the crop. Many students attempt to interpret a transit when it is basically over, for they begin to work with it when the crop is being harvested. The unpleasant crop harvested from a difficult transit occurs when we haven't been aware of the effect of a transit soon enough.

For that reason, when charting upcoming transits, we use a ten degree applying orb. In that way, the energy can be transformed with knowledge and understanding. So, for example, we will begin the transit analysis to her Sun when Mars hits 18 Leo, ten degrees from an exact conjunction.

We'll use three traditional aspects - conjunction, square, and opposition - yet when Mars make any of these three aspcts to our natal planets, it is roughly the same effect, or issues arising. So we'll take Mars conjunct, opposite, or square her Sun, then Mars conjunct, opposite, or square her Moon, then Mars conjunct, opposite, or square her Mercury, and so forth. So the categories will look like this:

High Energy - Mars conjunct, opposite, or square Sun

Super Sensitive - Mars conjunct, opposite, or square Moon

Talk Too Much - Mars conjunct, opposite, or square Mercury

In Love With Love - Mars conjunct, opposite, or square Venus

Bad Buying Cycle - Mars conjunct, opposite, or square Jupiter

Problems With Men, Authority Figures, Legal Matters - Mars conjunct, opposite, or square Saturn

Super Impulsive - Mars conjunct, opposite, or square Uranus

Perception Loss - Mars conjunct, opposite, or square Neptune

Unconscious Anger - Mars conjunct, opposite, or square Pluto.

So, why Mars?

Mars represents the action principle in the natal chart. It has been blamed for anger and violence and even war. The action principle reflects our energy potential. The Mars position in the chart indicates how we personally take action. It indicates how we will act out our Sun energy as well as how we act in a career sense, how we act around our friends, how we love, what ou sex drive is all about. Because Mars indicates sexuality, it symbolizes the life force within each of us. A Mars transit symbolizes the energy in the universe, the action energy, the life energy, the sexual energy, the libido.

As Mars conjuncts, squares, or opposes any of our natal planets, it brings energy and life to the facets of personality that are symbolized by those planets. The sextile and trine bring effortless energy while the hard aspects bring energy that needs to be refocused or rechanneled so that it can become productive and constructive.

Reprogramming sexual energy is the beginning of the creative experience. As we learn to reprogram our creative energy, the anger shown by the previously unchanneled energy will disappear, and the constructive energies can emerge. If we ever wish to be in command of our ship, we need to take responsibility for handling our energy in a mature fashion. It's easy to learn. Remember, use a ten degree applying orb.

Everyone following me so far?

Fabulous...now get out your ephemeris.

You gave me the only good news about my chart in this final of the year. I have just discovered that all the worst karma indicative are concentrated in my natal chart !
I was almost believing that I didn't just have a karma, but that I was the own karma !
I'm kidding !

I like you too dear , and of course I can tell you everythinhg about my 8th house stellium !
After the class finish !

I will prolly get to typing the explanations on Thursday, so Bissie, jump in if you like. If you want to take Jakie's chart and plot a ten-degree applying orb to each planet by transiting Mars over the next two years, go ahead. You should get 1-2 weeks time for each, and then you just give those dates for each category (there will be four for each category - the conj, opp, and both squares). Then I'll post the explanations on Thurs and we can do it in double the time. Or else, please be patient with the Virgo boy

Love,
Carlo

How about Chiron? I don't know how many of you use Chiron, but for me I really feel Chiron transits above all else, except for of course Saturn, my ruling planet.

The day Chriron was exactly conjunct my MC, there were layoffs at the company I worked for and 182 people lost their jobs. It turned out that I got a better job after that but I was very hurt when it happened.

Chiron is currently hitting my natal Mercury(12th House)and with the sun coming up on it, I feel like someone's pulling the rug out from underneath me. Every 12th House issue that I could possibly deal with is surfacing at the moment and the only way that I am coping with it is by writing. I am just trying to keep in mind that Chriron is the healer and that all this stuff is happening for a reason ...

Another tough one to deal with was Neptune crossing my Asc. during my Saturn Return ... I don't think I knew which planet I was on at that point in my life ... I think I thought I was "Altair the Allstar" (for all you gooberz out there.)

Anyone else have any fun Chiron or Neptune transits?

Neptune is inconjunct my Ascendant, for a year or so now. I have Chiron at 24 Pisces, tightly trine my Jupiter in Cancer Rising, so no real challenging transits lately for me. It's the place in our chart where we are karmically "wounded", according to Kim Rogers-Gallagher, that randy Archer girl:

Now, I have Chiron right next to my Moon, so he's been Following Me Home for a very long time, in a variety of disguises. In fact, as long as I can remember - even before Chiron and I were formally introduced - I've had a thing for animals - Special Animals. "Wounded" ones, with Special needs. Three-legged dogs, one-eyed dogs, birds with one foot, cats with no tails. Animals that have Ch-ironic illnesses, too. I don't go after them, either - they just arrive with their collars and their bowls or That Look on their faces. Since my Moon is in pretty delicate shape to start with, I used to think that was all there was to that.

Then I noticed that Chiron was nestled just a few degrees away from the Moon, and I knew immediately that I had something there. Once I made the initial connection between Chiron/Moon and my rather unusual "kids", I went to Jerry Lewis' chart...it was In There, just like it had to be. Big Time, too. Another conjunction: Chiron at 26 Aries, Moon at 0 Taurus. Perfect for dealing with Special Kids. That's what I was looking for. Since then, I've found example after example of Chiron's potency in charts, and he's always there, always right where you'd expect him to be.

***

Kim wrote a book on Chiron which I haven't read. I am just not that big on Chiron, yet possibly I should tune into it more.

Bright Blessings,
Carlo

Ok, so I take it you all really feel the transits. I just worry so much when I look at them. In a few years me and my boys will all have Pluto aspecting our Suns and I already worry...And then nothing happens.? Transitting Uranus recently opposed my husband's natal Pluto and trined his natal Neptun. Another ordinary day...I think.
Maybe the closer planets feel stronger?
I'd like to be a Mars Guniea pig, too, Carlo. If you don't mind.

Thanks.

OK Carlos,

Since you "exposed" yourself, I was trying to do the same but was not able to cut and paste my chart ... pretty silly for someone in the IT industry, but here's my info if you're interested ...

(EDIT)

Let me know what you make of my chart ... having some tough transits at the moment ...

I don't know much, so I'm usu on the recieving end of help on this board - I'm glad I could do some good

While we're at it, and I'm in a posting random things mood, here's my chart, too:

(No reason for it; I'm just, I dunno, tired or something. I'm also making constant and vigorous strides to be as open a book as possible.)

Beth - How're you holding up tonight?
Here's some coffee just in case.
I put some chocolate in it - it's my firm opinion that almost everything can be improved by adding some sort of chocolate. It's really kinda a minty-mocha thing. Someone bought me something like that from Starbucks, and I thought I'd spread the joy.

And now I'm definately sleepy and doing that rambling-for-no-apparent-reason thing I do.
G'night.
