What can indicate a paranoid nature in a natal chart?

I tend to get that way too, I have a Gemini moon. It could just be that we are Aquarius and question everything and want to know the TRUTH not someone's version of it. I mean I am always questioning and challenging too. My bf says I am paranoid and so would probably a lot of people if I voiced my opinion. But after all the things we find out how can we trust things! I don't trust the tv, big corp., the government, the news, but maybe I am taking your topic off topic, i am sorry.
All you wanted to know was what was it in someone's chart that could predispose us to that. (Is predispose a word???)

No, you're definitely on to something. I get that way too.

I've known a lot of water sign people to be kind of paranoid/obsessive-Cancer/Scorpio mixes, usually. One Scorpio w/ Cancer moon, one Scorpio with Cancer moon and Asc., one Cancer with Scorpio Asc. Also a Libra once with Cancer moon, Scorpio Asc. Actually, I also know a Cappy Sun/Cappy Moon/Sag Asc. obsessive/paranoid person. And then people tell me I have those tendencies sometimes. Usually, i'm the aloof Aquarian. So I guess I have to look further than just the sun/moon/asc.

Any insights?

I'd have to think more about it. If you provided a chart, I could probably point it out. It's hard to say pulling data out of thin air because these things vary with each person.

Gosh, I am getting familiar with those Aquarian ZAPPING questions! The other day, I went straight to bed afer work because I had a headache. Prior to crashing, I gave an Aquarian a phone call and left a message. He calls two hours later, and he hears my spaced out voice and asks if I want to go back to sleep. I say, that's quite alright, I need to get up anyway . . .

Bad mistake. (Just kidding, I adore Aquarians to bits).

He starts ZAPPING about 10 questions within 6 seconds as to why I was sleeping, what time do I get home from work, etc. etc.

Last question was:

Are you out of your fog now?

He may read this post one day . . .

Now I am paranoid about THAT!

k, speciwoman #1: Saturn in Virgo is Retrograde, and makes no aspects, hence it runs peregrine. An overly cautious nature, perfectionist tendencies, an awareness into the minute details that nobody else is going to think about, but bother you silently.

What do you think about the Vertex issue?

I haven't plugged in all the dates yet.

The vertex is an angle described as fate, amongst other things. There is not a lot published on this. I had found a book that theorizes that the Vertex is the Soul's Ascendant, but it is only written in German and Italian. Both languages of which I am familiar with, but not extremely fluent and proficient to read work like this. I am not sure yet if everyday personality traits are expressed on this angle, as are the Ascendant, Descendant, MC and IC.

This person has Cancer Rising with their Cancer Moon in the 12th house. Pluto is exactly conjunct the IC. This makes for someone who is highly sensitive and protective. Even more so since they have a Scorpio Sun. Probably extremely difficult to get to know due to many, many defenses . . . despite having happy-go-lucky Jupiter in the 1st house in Leo.

This person has a tight Mercury-Saturn conjunction in Cancer in the 8th house squared off by Pluto in Libra in the 11th house. They probably feel as though they are in a mental lockdown most of the time. There is a deep insecurity with regard of communicating their mind and visions with friends. May feel embarassed about what goes on in their mind, and knows that they are a shade on the neurotic side.

This person has their Cancer Moon in the 1st house, which squared by Venus in the 4th. My intuition tells me this person feels vulnerable of being taken advantaged of by the wrong person. Hence, an inhibition when it comes to emotional outward expression. Pluto is in the 4th house, so this person feels a strong need to protect themself from "outsiders" and probably has many deep secrets and issues.

This person has Scorpio Rising, with its ruler, Pluto in the 11th house squared by Jupiter. Their Moon in Aquarius has a hard opposition by Saturn. This person's paranoia stems from control issues.
