lllog unregistered	posted January 08, 2003 12:44 PM In the days where I indulged in pot, it was used in conjunction with making love to a beautiful woman, so I can't say how it alone effected me, but I enjoyed both very much. I think that alchol, pot, and whatever else a person indulges in would effect their Ascendant the most. Since the Ascendant has to do with the mask we show to the public, rather than who we are, I think that we revert back to our Moon signs at that time. Just my 2 cents Lanny IP: Logged
N_wEvil unregistered	posted January 08, 2003 02:26 PM Under the influence of (alot) of alchohol, My cancer moon comes out, even more than usual I've never really liked weed, although it makes me more chummy with everyone, seemingly - cuz im usually a pretty isolated figure. proxieme unregistered	posted January 08, 2003 04:24 PM Hm. I dunno. W/ the first I can get very talkative (Aqua Moon, I guess - Pisces, too, w/ my Scorp Asc. drawn away). W/ the latter I get extremely happy and mellow. The first time I was really out of it on both of 'em, it's my understanding that (and I say that b/c I was told later about my actions...) that I kept running out into the street and going, "Lemme alone - I wanna look at the stars!" I remember doing so and getting completely lost in 'em (and the trees and the street lights...) but I swore that I was in someone's yard, not the street. I can get loud and ultra-friendly sometimes. When I was in London (the first time I got drunk, really) I got really loud on the tube coming back from clubs, and my friends said, "Corri, please, pleeease be quiet. They will arrest you here." And when I was in Mongolia I got smashed (but it was their alcohol and they gave it to me, so there) and played soccer and ran arm in arm with some people, then danced at something with a number of people...but, again, that's not entirely clear in my memory...and then my companions and I got a whole buncha blankets and slept outside. Anyway - so, yeah - I think the main thing is that my more reserved Scorpionic mask disappears. But I don't make a habit of doing either (1x-3x a year), because I have the feeling that if I did, I'd, you know, make a habit of them. IP: Logged

I have a Leo Moon and well, last night for example, I had er...a few too many dirty martinis (olives...yum) and I am little miss chatterbox (Aqua Sun/Gem. Asc.), and I could basically care less about anyone else when I'm drinking. Leo Moon-it's all about ME! I always end up talking to random people when I'm out with my friends. Last night, my friend and I started chatting up this guy about the Harry Potter books, etc, and I became so dogmatic in what I thought of the books/movies, kept cutting him off, etc. And then I took off my clothes and ran around the bar naked. Just kidding But I am extremely friendly and flirtatious when drinking. And I often somehow end up being the center of attention. Aen unregistered	posted January 09, 2003 09:17 AM I haven't tried any drugs, but alcohol makes me a lot more talkative than may Virgo asc usually allows. It is a pretty standard influence, but I guess my 3rd hs Neptune makes it stronger. I have few friends who know that after a couple of beers I can tell fairytales and/or lost civilizations. N_wEvil unregistered	posted January 09, 2003 11:09 AM LOL, Mercy I've never done anything harder than pot (and dont really intend to start..although I almost dropped a pill once...shivers) One of my housemates with a Cancer Asc (He's a Gemini sun) gets rather whithdrawn and miserable when he drinks. proxieme unregistered	posted January 09, 2003 11:26 AM Do any of ya'll think that being "under the influence" may supress (at least for the moment) your Saturn influence? I was just thinking, b/c, as I said b/f, I get extremely friendly and outgoing - my defenses drop away - which could be my Scorp Asc taking a temporary haitus, but could also be my 11th House Saturn in Virgo subsuming. I'm not saying that the influence ceases to exist, but it's like Saturn has decided that disappearing is the best way to teach its lessons. For instance, if Saturn does subsume while one's plastered, someone w/ a 2nd House Saturn may become temporarily loose w/ their spending - when they drink they gamble, tip 50%, or something along those lines. Of course, they'd have to deal w/ the consequences later...you know, they have no money or have some leg-breakers coming after them, but for the time that Saturn's hidden, that doesn't matter. That may be a simplistic breakdown, but it just popped into my head. So, does anyone think that that may be the case? IP: Logged

candide unregistered	posted January 09, 2003 12:22 PM I have the Sun in Cancer, the Moon in Pisces, and Libra Rising. Alcohol at best makes me a tad melancholic At worst gets me really, really down. I've taken a lot of Ecstasy. Don't really enjoy it that much anymore. Milked it for all it is worth. I still smoke dope; it amplifies my sensations and feelings, especially when James Brown, Lyn Collins or anything with a groove comes on...does make me a bit self-centred though... Coke...really chatty and 'up'. The common theme which links all these drugs is that I desperately want everyone around me to have a good time, and I'll try hard to ensure that everyone is on the same level. IP: Logged
