hey y'all...I've been house hunting and I feel as though I've found the right house but I was just wondering if there was anything currently going on with my chart that would indicate whether itwas a good time to make a committment like this. Some of you might remember...last year I was househunting but I had this feeling in my gut that my job wasn't too secure so I decided not to buy...and then 7 months later I was laid off....so now I'm just trying to plan ahead and be sure that this is a good time. Hi Financechick If I have your birth data correct then your natal Jupiter is at 16 degrees 30 minutes Pisces.Transiting Mars is currently at 26 degrees 1 minute Scorpio. Square = 90 degrees Opposition 180 degrees Conjunction = 0 degrees When it gets to any of the above from your natal Mars those are the times Carlo mentions. Now transiting Mars actually goes retro at 10 degrees 8 minutes Pisces on 29th July and goes direct again at 0 degree 7 minute Pisces on 27th September. It will then move forwards to conjunct your natal Jupiter exactly on 21st November. Sue IP: Logged |

Just checked empheris.....Transiting Mars will exactly square your natal Jupiter on 12 Feb. So you only have that square and the conjunction to deal with this year. Your next square after that won't be until next year when transiting Mars reaches 16 Gemini. But as Carlo mentioned you need to add a couple of weeks either side of the exact "hit" dates as you will feel the effects. It's just more intense when the transit is exact. Sue PS: Mercury goes direct on 23nd January and not retro again until 27th April (for 3 weeks) IP: Logged |

Wow.... While looking all of that up I just noticed that transiting Mars goes retro in my 7th...backs up into my 6th then goes back into my 7th and stays there for the rest of the year...... Sue IP: Logged |

Carlo...Ummm, were you studying Astrology when you got married those times? No Astrologer would have advised marriage on those dates. The first.. Moon almost void of course and the only aspect she makes is to Jupiter Rx... not good enough to save that with Saturn and Neptune straddling the 7th house of MARRIAGE. Hello? (the semisextiles she'll make won't help, so I'd say she was pretty much void already) The second: Ok.. again with the Neptune on the 7th, bad mojo! And then with the Mars/Saturn opposition when Saturn rules the 7th? Looks kinda like hell on wheels to me. Just a quick second thought.. did you notice that in both charts the Venus was under the Sun beams? Venus is natural ruler of marriage. Hmmm. Technically in chart 1 you could say that She wasn't in the same Sign as Sol, but still within 17 degrees = under the Sunbeams! Sun beams (within 17 degrees of the Sun) and combustion (within 8 degrees of the Sun) tend to burn up the influence of a planet, hindering its energies. (This is a Horary methodology, but I find many of them apply to event charts and even natal work. I haven't looked at the Planetary Hours yet, but I will when I have a little spare time, off to dinner...

Hi FC. Here's my 2 cents . You may want to wait until Saturn goes direct. It's currently transiting over your 4th house. And I agree with Carlo, don't buy when Mercury is retro.....you're never supposed to sign contracts and such during that time.Carlo, there is nothing wrong with having Mars retro in your natal chart. Your ex is a Taurus? Was she born in '69? IP: Logged |

oh boy..I don't know enough about astrology to know when Saturn "goes direct"....but hey..since I graduate from grad school tomorrow and won't have the burden of studying and writing papers...I have time to learn this stuff...the thing is...I FOUND the house I want to buy....but even if I put a contract in...I owuldn't settle or sign papers until well after Valentines Day. oh..also..for those that wonder..I looked at my chart compared to the Virgo's...but I don't have his birth time so I'm not sure of his real ascendant or moon but we have a lot of positive aspects between our other planets...so maybe it is "written in the stars". Congratulations on graduating. Well then I'd say you're in good shape. Just make sure you don't have to sign anything before the 23rd (Mercury will be direct on that day). And as for Saturn, I believe it goes direct around February 22. Ask that you're closing be that date or after. IP: Logged |

Carlo, not that I am knocking what you term to be a great book but........this woman is saying that any woman with Mars retro or any guy with venus retro is doomed with marriage???? That's a bit harsh,no? Too cookie cutter for me......... And your ex can't have a Mars opposite Saturn aspect because her Mars is in Sag and Saturn is in Taurus. (I was born a week before her). And I know that alot of astrologers say Mars/saturn opposition or square may make a native cruel but that's another bit of hearsay I could dismiss. I know many people with those aspects and I say phooey!! LOLIP: Logged |
