Although I do have to say its the bane of my existance, and generally makes life not-much-fun.

Put simply its sensitivity overdrive with me, fairly innocuous comments just "bruise" for want of a better word, and take quite a while to heal. There have been occasions where I was a bit of an emotional basket case for a while (most of 1998 for example).

I am very sensitive to most peoples emotional traits, plus apparently im a healer (although that could be hereditary plus I rarely use the skill because everyone gives me a funny look when I mention it).

The really negative side is that the closer people get to me the more likely they are to absorb backlash, which can occasionally make an argument with a loved one look like an antimatter/matter reaction, mostly because if they inadvertantly hurt my feelings I find it very hard to forget, although most people are immediately forgiven.
