the 1st cusp is who you are and the 7th is what you seek in a relationship - that's generally known. but in a SEXUAL one, the 2nd is what you bring into the relationship and the 8th is what you seek. below is info from a forgotten source:
aries on 8th -seeks out an initiating, sexually dynamic partner = libra on 2nd provides a lovely setting for the relationship. taurus on 8th seeks a beautiful body, a good physical form = scorpio on 2nd has the ability to transform that persom through that sexual experience. gemini on 8th seeks experience, communication, new knowledge. they like you to be different. anyone with gemini, virgo or merc in 8th or ruling the 8th wants to communicate first. =sag on 2nd brings a depth of knowldege and experience, a freeness and honesty. cancer on 8th seeks nurturing emotional experience and security = capricorn on 2nd brings dignity and control. leo on 8th seeks someone dramatic and makes them the whole dramatic figure. they would like generosity. = aquarius on 2nd brings innovative techniques, inventiveness and uniqueness. virgo on 8th seeks someone very technically able, mentally bright, very meticulous = pisces on 2nd can provide immersion into a wonderful world and sexual experience. they'd be losing themselves in the experience. curious. does it resonate? mine about gemini and sag does. oxychick, hi what's referred to are the cusp signs of the 2nd=-8th house axis. those that sit at the starting point of your second and eighth houses. my first house is scorpio, my second is sag, third is capricorn...

<<taurus on 8th seeks a beautiful body, a good physical form = scorpio on 2nd has the ability to transform that persom through that sexual experience. >>Sounds good. In my case, I think I would bring alot of possessiveness. IP: Logged |

hmm....interesting, So if I have Virgo on the second and Pisces on the eigth, would the same definitions apply as virgo on the eighth but just reversed? Or would I bring in different Virgo traits into a sexual relationship?IP: Logged |

that seems pretty accurate in my case too. pisces on the 2nd, and virgo on the 8th (and, oddly, the houses start at 0.4 degrees into the sign). it's interesting, cuz it seems to correlate to my nodes. i'm virgo north node.. so i guess i'm looking for someone who will exemplify that which i need to learn to fulfill my node. and i can provide the positive, learned parts of my pisces south node for that person. i've never heard of this.. where did you find this info, taj? crabbyram, i think you bring your virgoness..and then you seek one who doesn't mind drowning in deep waters. weird purple sparkles. interesting about your nodes. took it from an astro site last year but managed to lose the author. corri, i guess, nothing beats mental stimulation for us.

Oh, yeah - completely. If a guy's really intelligent, knows what he's talking about, and is excited by at least one field I go nuts. It sounds silly, but it's true. My first b/f (a Gem, I was 14 er 15) got jumped one day when he started going off about his newfound passion for physics, and it's always the cute-but-geeky guys that I fall for. And I have my 3rd House Aqua Moon thrown into the mix - I guess I really do need mental stimulation and rapport (she says as she watches cartoons )IP: Logged | |
