hi all..so i'm confused. i just found the relocation chart on astro.com and when i typed in the city i am planning on moving to, it had my ascendant at 28 degrees sag (it's normally 8 degrees cap). so... does this mean your personality changes, that much about you actually changes, in fundamental ways, when you live elsewhere? i've lived alot of different places in the last 10 years, so i know i've felt differently in different places and responded differently, but it seems so drastic that my entire chart would be so altered! if i lived there for the rest of my life, would i always have to refer to this new chart, with the different house placements? and to find out if a place is harmonious for me, should i run a partner reading with my current self and my relocated self? it just seems so weird.... When you do a relocation chart, you replace your birthplace with the new location, keeping everything else the same. Depending how far apart the two places are, your Ascendant may vary qite a few degrees from your natal Ascvendant. That doesn't have anything to do with your persoanlity, similar to your natal Ascendant, but any new house locations and aspects (to new Ascendant) can be used to figure out if you are more intune with the relocation place than your birthplace or current location. When I moved to St. Louis, my relocation Ascendant changed 8 degress and formed a triangle with my natal Netune and Uranus as well as opposing my natal Moon. My 2 cents Lanny IP: Logged |

Try the "best place in the world" click on map on astro.com, too. I'm gonna try the relocation map, I'm very curious about it. I found the other one really accurate!IP: Logged |
