I had a revelation on Valentines Day. I've been studying astrology for about 4 years now pretty intensely but sometimes new things still jump out at me about my chart that I hadn't noticed before. I was thinking how Libra men always rock my world, since a new one had just entered it and I realized that my Pluto in Libra is in mutual reception with my Venus in Scorpio! Shame on me for not having noticed it before, especially since I've realized for quite some time that my Jupiter and Sun are in mutual reception as well.So what I would like to know is what anyone might care to share with me regarding mutual reception. Also specifically relating to Pluto and Venus..could this be the reason that some of my most earth shattering loves have been with Librans? Then again..love is generally more of an earth shattering experience for me than many others.. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. IP: Logged |

I think mutual reception is quite significant especially and more so if the planets in mutual recption are personal planets... Is Pluto or Venus a personal planet for either of you, or is Libra a featured sign or is Pluto aspected much in your natal chart?IP: Logged |

Hmm.. I think Pluto is a significant factor in my chart. It's a singleton, being the only planet in an air sign and the only planet in a cardinal sign as well. It sextiles my Mercury, Mars and Neptune conjuction. Pluto also closely conjoins my nadir. Pluto also semi-sextiles my Uranus in Scorpio although I don't know how personal that is since they are both outer planets, making it more of a generational thing. Pluto in mutual reception with Venus would also accentuate my Scorpio moon, I would think, since my Moon and Venus are EXACTLY conjunct at 7degrees 20 minutes Scorp.IP: Logged |

Hey Pluto is a personal planet for you if your Moon is in Scorpio! And the Moon representing the inner you, you will want a partner to express that inner you outwardly... and venus being the ruler of Taurus ( opposite sign of your scorpio Moon) then I'd say you would be attracted to the venus peeps alright.IP: Logged |

Hmm. I have the Moon and Jupiter in mutual reception (Moon in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Cancer). I've always wondered what that meant, exactly. :-/IP: Logged |

Like...say...you know how Mars rules Aries? And how Venus rules Libra and Taurus? Say you had Mars (Aries' ruler) in Libra, and Venus (Taurus/Libra's ruler) in Aries. When two signs rulers (In this case Venus and Mars in Aries and Libra or Taurus, respectively) are swapped. Kind of. Like...the Sun in Cancer, and the Moon in Leo. Blah, I suck at explaining. Thanks for the explaination. Wouldn't the Pluto aspect be minor though? Since Pluto takes so long in one sign, then everyone with Venus in Scorpio (such as myself) born in the Pluto/Libra gen have it.IP: Logged |

How funny. I have Sidereal Mercury in Scorpio 5th in mutual reception with Pluto in Virgo 4th Also Mercury semi square Pluto I tend to be a very intense thinker and I tend to obsess about things I pursue. and I have Venus in Sagittarius 7th in mutual reception with Jupiter in Taurus 2' 11th house... Also Venus biquintile Jupiter I'm a total romantic and I want to see the good in the people I care about. I'm not sure how it plays out "exactly" in my relationships since I just found out about this. ------------------ "The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart” `Helen Keller quotes IP: Logged |

I recently stumbled upon this post as I began perusing this site for the first time in some years. I have fallen in love again and he is a Taurus with a Libra rising. So it would seem that my intense attraction to the Venusian men still holds true. Me thinks this mutual reception between Pluto and Venus in my chart has something to do with it indeed...IP: Logged |
