What does it mean when planets are at the same degree, in the same house in a natal chart? Does that mean anything more than they're just conjunct one another?I don't have this in my chart, but I have noticed it in other people's charts. Thanks! IP: Logged |

Just my humble opinion but I would say the planets are operating as one entity, as in one doesn't act without the other. I think the closer the conjunction the more the effects are felt. Maybe some people out there with 0 degree conjunctions will comment on this. Hmm, where's Bissie? I know she has Mercury/Pluto conjunction (0 degree)IP: Logged |

hey, i just found this thread!i have mercury and mars in aquarius, both at 11 degrees. one's .37 and one's .41, so they are very very close. guess that means i fight for what i believe in, but maybe signifies being a little dogmatic about it at times? as i was saying on the thread about having lots of planets conjunct, i am very imdependant minded, and i love autonomy. it's one of my faveourite things! hmm.. just thot of something else. they are also conjunct my sun in aquarius(15 dgrees).. and i realized that this probably relates: i LOVE to learn, to think about weird things, but it HAS to be in my own way, with my own method, at my own pace (which is one reason i love astrology; it's so complex, and you can study any part of it at any time, and it involves as much intuition as science..) and i seem to get in trouble with people who think i'm wasting my time with it.. but i need to learn things, and i need to have my own focus. i'm sort of scattered, but i get very into whatever i'm interested in. i used to get in trouble at school, cuz altho i was very intelligent, i just couldn't concentrate. i like to think in my own way. and it has to be important. meaningful. i think astrology is these things. but to others, it's just woo woo nonsense. oh well. My Moon and Venus are both at 7.20 Scorpio and I have often been curious as to what this means. The only thing that I'm certain of is that it means this is a highly influential area of my chart. Hopefully for the better and not for worse when you consider that both these planets are either in their detriment or fall in Scorpio... I've also found that there are other indications in my chart that point to this conjuction in particular as being pivotal. Pluto, ruling Scorpio, is a singleton in my chart and it's also in mutual reception with Venus. So my instinct, when I see a tight conjunction in a chart, is to look and see if other areas of the chart point back to the conjuction, futher indicating the level of importance of the conjunction...
