I'm going to burn up all my questions in a really short time !

I have wondered about the moon... I read that it reflects the relationship with the mother??... My moon is in libra. So, I was wondering if that is true, what does that show?

Also, the Asc. My Asc. is also in libra and from the description of what they give I can't understand how I fit? They say the women have a tendancy to look masculine? Well, is that suppose to be offensive?! I really don't think I do and no one has ever implied that I do.

My sun is in scorpio .... I don't know?! Am I a confused creature or what!

Hi 1scorp
Look at what aspects are made to the Moon in your natal chart - these reflect your relationship with your Mother.

Hey 1scorp, I would doubt you have a masculine appearance.

Libra rising would, I think, tend to give you an air of grace, beauty, charm and vivaciousness. The sign Libra is ruled by the planet Venus, which is anything but masculine.

You might want to read from this site to get a better overall view, which is not an endorsement but for information only. This link will take you to the right page.

Don't know why you were concerned 1scorp
But if you want a second opinion, you could post a pic on the Knowflake picture album. http://groups.msn.com/LindaLandjoints/shoebox.msnw?Page=1

You're welcome for the site link.

Jw: I posted the pic. Just because I know you're interested on how a libra asc. and scorpio sun would appear.. (yeah that's it).

Just as I suspected 1scorp Would a Scorp rising Leo lie to you?

But do try to keep that challenging direct Scorp stare in check or you'll scare all the guys off. Oh what the heck, you probably wouldn't want anyone you could scare off anyway.

Im a libra sun; what i have read about libra is that they dont tend to be masculine as such in appearance, Its just that they can be either masculine and femine with the greatest of ease. I think it has to do with balance (the scales). For example hear a few bits from Linda sun signs:

"What woman could look like a princess when you take her to the ball, then turn right around, lace up her boots, zip up her reda plaid lumber jacket, and help you saw logs for the fireplace? she has sweetness enough for the first and strength enough for the second."

Im a Libra sun, Aries moon, and Scorpio Assendant myself...
Ive always been a bit confused by what effects what, sun, moon and assendants!??

Is that what they mean by "the scorpio stare"?!

HA! I do that all the time.... just my "trying to figure out what the heck someone is doing" stare!!

You made me laugh.... so no masculine traits then?!.... Good

1scorp, I just looked at your pictures, and believe me from a man's point of view, you definately don't look masculine. You are a real beauty.

Hello 1scorp

It isn't so much that you stare at people, it's the flat expression on your face and the fact you probably don't blink that some people find unsettling It gives people the impression that 1. you can see right through them 2. that you aren't buying what they're saying and 3. that you may be reading their minds---especially if your eyes are locked with theirs.

I assume you're asking about Venus retrograde in your natal chart. Here's a site with some information on retrograde planets in your natal chart. http://www.arlenekramer.com/astrology11.asp

1Scorp, FYI - you're cute girl! So don't trip.

As for the stare thing, so true w/ Scorps.

My best friend stares at me when we talk and he's a dude... makes me a bit uncomfortable for a dude to be staring at my eyes for that long.

I also had an ex that ALWAYS stared at people, she used to talk about it. She used to say it was like a staring contest type thing for her, she wanted to do it until the person looked away just to see what their made of. If they kept eye contact she kept staring back to also see what they want, she got thrills from it, lol.

She used to comment I never made eye contact with people, but for me, I thought her non-stop staring is rude to people. I make eye contact when I'm trying to make a point, or being truly sincere, I feel if I did it all the time it would lose it significance and meaning.

But that's just my two cents,

LL

Wow.. I feel so awkward. Like there is some sort of spot light on me? (blushing)

Jw you started it !!... I simply asked about something that I had read... and you "dared" me to post a pick!! (I'm kidding)

Also, if the one particular pic aggravates you so bad, I can remove it sweet.
Even though, I can't understand !

Now I feel like someone who has no self-esteem!.... Really, I do alright.. not full of myself either though. Just read that asc. description and got puzzled for a moment.

The blank expression thing... I don't mean to do that! I just "look" that serious. No? Not buying into it?!... Well, I tried !!

I "can" generally tell when someone is trying to pull one over on me !.. and yes, I will give my undivided attention to them I seem to notice straight away!

Here's the "run-down"... Sun-scorpio... venus-scorpio, mars-scorpio, mercury- scorpio... uranus-scorpio..... So see,can I help it?!.....

By the way.... I took a look at your pic.. with your grand-daughter. You're handsome. See, I can pay compliments too.

Also Lanny... thank you for the comment. That was sweet.... didn't check on a pic. yet. Sort of helps when you can put a face with a name.

Lost: Thank you as well. I never intentionally stare at anyone.... as I hate that being done to me. When I talk to someone I look them in the eyes to give my complete attention to them. I seem to understand them more.

Also, I think it should be taken as a compliment. Meaning, that you have my or whoever's undivided attention.

However, I have noticed that if I talk to women their eyes get HUGE !!.... Is it because I don't blink?... I never noticed. Guys don't seem to be bothered with it though.

The eyes is one of the features that most stand out and appeal to me..

Also, thought of something... Leo's and Scorps are square right?.... I haven't met one yet I didnt' like !...

Oh yeah, JW.... thank you for the web-link.. you are so sweet! I seen some ascendant "personality" traits for libra in the last one you sent... and I could identify with much of them.

Again, thank-you..... now that you all made me smile, laugh and blush

Errr... something went wrong with your postings? Anyway, don't worry 'bout me. I'm just reading stuff left and right and I understood enough. It's just that this thread made me laugh for no apparent reason at all. Probably due to lack of sleep or something. =)

Nah 1scorp, don't take that picture down, I like the Scorp stare. Use it myself from time to time.

You've got Scorp popping out all over your chart, miss intensity.

In case you haven't chosen a career, here's the book on Scorpio occupations. See what you think.

Yep, Scorpio and Leo are square but can be fine friends and anything else as long as the power games don't get started.

Now you're making me blush and that's hard to do---thanks for the compliment.

Hi 1scorp,

Libra Rising will always incline one to beauty, it's a kiss of Venus The Rising sign is the door to the first house, how others see us at first glance, the look we show the world.

The masculine thing you prolly heard is that Libra is a masculine/positive sign. All Air and Fire signs are, just as all Earth and Water signs are feminine/negative, and this is only about polarity, not meaning "negative person" or "acts masculine". So it doesn't mean you'll look, sound, or act like a man It just means the Libra influence will incline you to be more outgoing and assertive.

Yet your inner essence (Sun) is Scorpio, so that is generally not true, deep down. You're a Water girl inside, and pretty emotional. While you may be all chatty at times, you are likely rather private yet I have never met a Libra Rising who is not at least pretty. Linda Goodman said that Scorpio women are generally uncomfortable with comments about their looks, being told they are pretty, and that many secretly wish they could have been men, thinking that it's easier to get through life as a man, maybe that's what you mean. Yet that would be lessened with the Libra influence. After all, you are a Double Libra, with Sun in Scorpio, just as Madonna is a Double Virgo, with Sun in Leo

Welcome to Lindaland

Bright Blessings,
Carlo
