I know this is not exactly a general astrology question, but here goes:
I know several Gemini males who have two or more personal planetary placements (Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) in Cancer, and I wondered how drastic this influence would be on the typical airy mentality and aloof emotional responses of their Gemini sun sign?
I'd appreicate any and all input that might help me decipher these amusingly cryptic pals of mine.

I don't know exactly about the "cancer" situation. However, I can identify with quite a few water placements with gemini's.

Know one that has Asc. scorpio, moon scorpio, venus cancer and mars in pisces !!

Wow!..... I'm a scorpio and he is way moodier than I ever imagined to be!

Hi VAA,

I'm a Gemini with 3 Cancer planets (Mars, Jupiter, Uranus); also Mercury and Mars are in my 4th house (though Merc is at the end of Gemini). I have a lot of water in my chart...Moon, Juno and Saturn in Scorpio, and Pisces Rising too. So in answer to your question...other planets in water signs definitely alter the "typical" Geminian traits of aloofness or airiness.

For me as far as the Cancer influence goes, I am more of a homebody and nester than one might think of Gemini as being. Keeping true to my Sun though, I love to write, read and learn new things, then share what I've learned with others. lol Hope that helps.

I have a friend who is a Gemini with venus in Cancer. She is a great gardener,warm and friendly, very good at home decor. yet she is still intellectually bright. I know someone else that is a Gemini with Venus in Cancer and she says she is a cry baby. She is also very warm and loving, but not too "book smart."
Me, I've got Cancer sun, venus, mercury, and north node. Most people don't consider me the heart over head type. I think I'm more head over heart. My emotions are definitely more cool and I've got a Pisces moon. So go figure. Perhaps I'm very emotional, but they certainly are not expressed.
