Hi All,

Okay this is totally weird. I am friends with the guy that I sometimes just cannot seem to get along with, but we do have some interesting conversations. Whenever we decide to get together for dinner or drinks (nothing romantic...at least on my part), the weather is always awful.

It is either snowing like we have never seen before, the fog is so dense you can't see your hands in front of your face, or it is raining to the point where we might flood.

Is it me or do you the cosmos are trying to tell us something?LOL

Here is our birthdata:

Me: Dec, 16 1969 11:45pm Artesia, CA
him: Sept. 25, 1970 6:05am Baltimore, MD

Then there are times when I find him to be so irritating that I want to just kick him...LOL. He is totally hyper (I'm more relaxed) and he seems to be an extremist - motorcycles, race cars, extreme climbing..you name it. Talking to him can really wear me out. I think it must be all of those planets of his conjuncting and being in the 12th and 1st house.

Any comments?

Well from your signs I figure you both like to be right, right? So that could make it irritating..

I know about having to be right. I'm Aquarius and "I know!" no but seriously: I do

the weather thing IS wierd! Maybe you two should stay indoors and under the covers!!

Pidaua, I must say that a couple of aspects (His Mars and Mercury Square your Venus) shed light on your difficulies.

Of course the fact that your Ascendants are only 3 degrees apart indicates that you both project similar masks to the world.

His Mars Square your Venus – this aspect produces an extremely strong sexual attraction, however it lacks emotional compatibility and mutual consideration. One or the other of you may be in the relationship strictly for sexual gratification. In marriages, jealousy and possessiveness can be a problem. You both tend to influence the other in impulsive emotional acts and financial expenditures. You see him as impulsive, somewhat brash, and inconsiderate. He in turn may see you as lazy, self-indulgent, and over sensitive. This is an extremely difficult aspect for personal relationships

His Mercury Square your Venus – this aspect creates difficulties between the two of you when you try to explain your feelings to each other. With all that you have going intuitively its not necessary to put everything in words. Trust your unspoken communications. You may feel at times that he is too wrapped up in his projects and ideas, and when he does want to talk about your feelings, he tends to intellectualize your emotions and feelings. He may not understand your emotional context all of the time. Remember, he views the world intellectually while you view it emotionally. Don’t over talk your emotional relationship, just experience them. There is a time for talk, and a time for just being.

Just my 2 cents
Lanny

Hi Fajita and Lanny,

Thanks for responding. I went out of town on a biz trip and didn't read this until now.

You are both so right. I am not interested in him on any level other than as a friend. I get the feeling he wants more, because he keeps trying to push me. I am just not physically, emotionally or intellectually attracted to him at all.

Lanny...LOL I do find him to be so brash, loud and just plain hyper! I am not a wallflower, but I just can't handle someone that is that spastic... He might see me as being too lazy (which I am not, but I do like my alone time). I think it's weird that he talks about only liking 3 hours of sleep, and I like 8.

And I do always feel like I have to explain myself to him or feel bad for not wanting any emotional or physical entanglement.

I think I will have to come out and say it to him again!

Thank again!!
