Whatever may be your opinion if you were to convince someone you are right, how you are going to argue?Sir Issac Newton 17th century astronomer and scientist was questioned regarding his belief in astrology by his rival colleague, Newton answered simply "Sir, I have studied the matter, you have not". So arguing astrology 'does not work' and 'unscientific' is arguing without studying the matter. If you studied the matter, would you believe the same?
Then there is matter of practical experience and natural intelligence in astrology besides astrological influences thems-elves that determine whether you would believe in astrology or not. If someone had enough experience and intuitive perception of astrology, then they would conclude astrology does work. Gap between believing in astrology or not believing in astrology is knowledge. I believe in astrology because I have acquired sufficient knowledge.
Another misleading factor is quake astrologers. Either they plainly cheat others or are ineligible to practice astrology. So you may believe astrology is pure fad.
More or less that is what I used to tell those who ask me.
What would you say?
