I too agree, we MUST all have the ability of psychic power... I mean what are we to do with the other 90% of our brain we don't use.

Like what Stella & Pidaua said,
We're all just at different stages of development.

Those stages are "embryonic" right now, in the course of the evolution of humanity's psychic ability

Ack.
Right now I'm at an on-campus comp that won't let me cut and paste, but I just wanted to say to pidua that the account of your dream from a couple of nights ago is really interesting.
Have you noticed any changes in your waking life?

Hi Prox,

It's funny that you ask that. Yes, things have been getting so much easier to deal with. I am not sure if it because Saturn and Pluto are finally releasing me from being in the middle of their opposition. ( I am a Sag and Pluto is just about on me and Saturn, conjuncting my MC, is still opposing me) or if it because Jupiter is finally going direct.

It does feel like I have been given a gift or a new start over the past week. The past two years have been oppressive, to say the least, as far as authority figures and work and on a personal level. I truely believe that with every hard lesson and trial, we gain a strengh and a blessing from it. What we do with is means everything. Through all of these issues over the last two years I made sure that I never took the easy way out and kept things above board.

Thankfully, I had this great forum to learn so much from and Carlo (bless his nutty soul) gave me valuable insight as to how to deal with being in the middle of the Saturn / Pluto battle.

Thank you for the kind words, everyone.

I just remembered this other dream that I had that was a jaw dropper.

I had lost my journal of the last two years together with J shortly after I returned from scattering his ashes in Ithaca and the loss was terrible. It was almost like experiencing his death almost all over again. A couple months later I had a dream of finding the thing stuck between two objects, like books or something. Then two days later I was moving a box that was sitting next to a trunk and the journal was stuck between the two of them.
It was so amazing because just that day I had thought to myself that I was losing faith in my intuition and dreams for a different reason that is kind of a long story..then this incident with the journal totally renewed my faith. It was pretty incredible.

Kat,
we have similar placements: Mercury in 12th in Cancer trine Moon (Scorpio) and Neptune (Sagittarius), both in the 4th. Just wanted to mention that

Morgana,
I noticed that! Your also a Leo rising? Though my moon is in the 8th and my neptune is in the fourth. I've also noticed that several people here have moons in water signs. Interesting!

wow this is a really interesting thread! I have always been interested in dreams because i do have some really vivid ones. I either have realy abstract dreams that i think must symbolise things? or really really exact dreams, playing things out in my mind... and i think that may be the reason i get so many feelings of Dejavu. and often when i hear about events i have a really strange sence that i knew it was going to happen... im often freaking myself out! I am constantly having strange feelings going in or out of sleep... and i have posted a few of these in Astral Realms and had feedback relating to Astral Travel or OBE. I have no idea about my aspects, well i am trying to work them out!, but im a Libra with a Scorp ascendant and Aries moon.

Harpyr, some years ago I went through a period with a lot of emotional stress as several close relatives and a very close friend all got ill and died within a very short time. But that period also did something to my dreams. I also had several very strong experiences, and I believe being surrounded by death suddenly brought me a couple of steps up the psychic ladder, made me more aware or sensitive or what I should say.

Kat,

yes, a Leo Rising as well
my Moon and my Neptune are conjunct in the 4th (I dream at home?? ).

Yes, but I was pleasantly surprised at the high number of the traditionally "less esoterically-inclined" signs when I got here. I've learned that it just doesn't matter. All signs've got it, it's just the manifestation that is different There is a thread somewhere that lists the sign-combinations of many many knowflakes and the statistics might surprise someone who thinks the way I did. I know they broadened my horizons. I think it's in the Free-for-All forum.

BTW, pidaua, I wrote you a reply in the Global Unity (This Forum) to clear things up, hope you read it

Harpyr, Stella Polaris

I've experienced similar situations that you described; within less than a year, 5 people I knew and loved (including my Mother) died. Four got cancer, and my Mom passed in her sleep (heart) very unexpectedly.

And yes...my dreams were altered too, also being "brought a couple of steps up the psychic ladder" and becoming even more sensitive than I had been.

In particular...I dream about my Mother all the time. Yet it feels like more than dreams; more like visits. We talk, sometimes she gives advice for something I'm dealing with, always smiling, always happy. In the first few dreams I had after her death, she assured me that she was fine; once she even said, "I'm right here".

I don't know if I dream most of her because she died unexpectedly and we never had a chance to say good-bye, or simply because she WAS my Mother and we had such a strong bond; I only know I love it when I see her in my dreams and am always comforted.

Has anyone else had dreams frequently of loved ones that have passed, and felt they were more than dreams?

I've also had several "waking" experiences of my Mother's presence that I'll share if anyone wants to hear them, but this post will get kinda long if I do it here, so let me know. And, I'd like to hear of others' waking experiences with passed-on loved ones, if someone wants to share.

Dear Twin Lady, you're so lucky to dream about your Mum and communicate with her in your sleep. I've had a couple of dreams about my ex who died, but a lot of them are related to a novel I'm working on and that is sort of based on our relationship - definatly no message from him, though I'd love one! He died several years before the "bunch", we had a quite strong telepathic relationship or whatever you call it - I'd always know when he'd call etc., and when he died he came to "visit", I could feel his presence very strongly, but it was only later that I learned that he had died.
My strongest experiences is related to the death of my brother-in-law, which followed only a few months after the death of my in-laws. He died of cancer, only two and a half month after it was diagnosed. The night before he died, in my sleep, I had this extremly strong sense of peace, I've never had anything like it, and I just know that's how it is to be dead - and that I got this memory as a sort of comfort in the situation. When he died he also passed by, and my youngest son, two and a half a the time, cried out his uncle's name in his sleep. He was buried the next day, as is custom in Greece, and the day after the funeral I got up very early and suddenly got in an American tv station, that showed a program about Lance Armstrong and how he had beated the cancer, though it had spread to his lungs and and brain (that's how my brother in law died). All that week I had been thinking a lot of an old friend back in Norway, and that morning she called me, for the first time since I moved to Greece, and told me her cancer had spread to the brain and lungs...My friend lived for two and a half more years, and I had several very strong connections to her during her illness. One night I was thinking a lot about her and got very depressed and lied on the floor and just cried and prayed, and later her husband found this letter she had written to me the same day, she was so sad, too. The three days before she died I was so miserable and felt I had absolutly no energy, I could hardly get out of bed, and then her husband called to say she had died, and that she had been fine for a few weeks, but then the three last days she was going down...This sounds weird, but I believe she somehow borrowed some energy from me. She also came over to visit the morning she died, and I'm very pleased I was walking in the mountains here that she just loved when she came to visit two years earlier. One thing is that my dreams have changed after this - and it has lead me here! But also I've discoverd I can think hard about a person and get contact, like I mentally call them.
Now, your stories!

Twin Lady,

I too dream of someone that I lost. My grandma comes to me often in my dreams. I remember a few months ago I was so sad because I lost her. I had a dream that I walked into a crowded restaurant and found her sitting at the bar. It was a beautiful place with dark wood and bright lights. She was laughing and talking to all these people.

I said "how can you be here, you passed away" She said to me "Sugar (that's what she always called me) I am always here. I am so happy, please tell your mom and uncle not to worry about me. I am having a ball and I am catching up with everyone here. We still watch over you. Don't worry, we'll all be together again someday. Now get on girl and live life."

It was so amazing that I called my mom right away. She was so happy because she and my uncle had been crying to each other the day before wondering if Grandma was sad to leave and if they had done enough for her. She died of cancer, but she went peacefully.

I have always had these kinds of dreams and dreams of those I care about before they die. I had an ex boyfriend get killed in a car crash and for three nights in a row I saw the accident played out in my dreams. Each time I woke up just as I held him dying in my arms. The 4th night I did not have the dream. That night was the night he was killed in a car accident that threw him out of the car.

The same thing happened with one of my best friends in HS. In a dream he asked me to remember him as he was and how we walked to the mall after drivers ed. The next day I got the call. He was killed in a car accident on his way to pick up his mom's b-day cake.

I do not have my moon, sun or rising in a water sign, in fact I only have Jupiter, Neptune and Mars in waters signs. But, I do pick up impressions from people, like clear pictures and I will answer their questions before they ask them. I used to get into trouble because I would get into someones head and start playing games about what they were thinking. (I try not to do that anymore because it tends to really scare some people and **** off others. LOL)

My brother, sag sun with a scorpio moon, he and I used to play little ESP games that would freak out my mom. We would hold cards or write down numbers and guess what the other had.

Harper and pidaua

Thank you for sharing. It is so generous of you.

I'm also one with wonderful, vivid dreams full of color and smells and taste. I just wish I could remember them better.

Some dreams are like wonderful fairytales. They are full of adventure and activities and I can sometimes figure out in the where I got the ideas. They sometimes reflect what I've been seen, but haven't perhaps noticed or thougth much of during the day. These can be very insightful.

Then there are past life dreams. Very much different from the 'regular' dreams. I've only had approx. seven about three lives. Very informative. No problems with 'remembering' those in the morning.

And then there are the conversations with dragons. I really wish I could recall those properly in the mornings.
Nothing prophetic though.

Moon conj. Pluto both trine Cappy Sun. All three sextile Sag/Neptune. (Technically the Moon sextile Nep has too wide orb (8 deg), but since I really 'feel' the Moon/Pluto conj. I'll count it in)

That is a great subject… Specially lately I have been having some weird dreams I don’t think I have any special aspects except and over active mind I guess it has to do with my Saggi Sun sign. Sometimes I actually could do without the dreams. But since I get answer I think it is from my angel, I like it. For some reason I had a problems with dreams similar like the one from Kat used to have, or maybe I should say nightmares. It was to the point I didn’t want to sleep anymore I still remember the dreams and get scare. I mean the more I dream the less I sleep and then I wake up with the feeling and everything ….. oh boy do I give a hands up to the people that like to have dreams…. I mean even if it is good I am analyzing what I felt and what I dreamt and what it means….

Muse,

I can identify with that. I have been having some nutty dreams that make me feel like I haven't been sleeping all night. Today I am just burned out and I can't wait to get home and relax. I keep dreaming about a car accident that I had in late September. I wake up in a panic and then realize it's only a dream and that I am okay.

I wonder if the Sag thing has anything to do with the line up of Saturn and Pluto. I am due for one more hit with the opposition of Saturn to my Sun (later Sag's are getting it from now until late May). I am starting to see the "problems with authority" figures starting to rear it's ugly head.

Last Sept / Oct I had major confrontations with a horrible Cancer Business Manager and my Taurus CEO. It was as though nothing I could say or do was right and they would contradict themselves just to try to put me in my place. Then things smoothed out, we fired the BM and hired a new CEO (the older one is the CEO of the holding company). Well, here we go again with Old Mr. Taurus starting to fight again. Oh well, just got to weather the storm and stand my ground.

Any of you other Saggies feeling this?

Pidua,

Would you believe I couldn’t even go into to work I was so tired. My mind can’t stop working. Since the dreams feel so real when I wake up I have to stop and think what is and what isn’t real. By the way I am also having some problems at work….

Hi Muse,

Sorry things are so rough for you!! Keep that eternal Sag optimistic attitude and hang in there. Sorry it took so long for me to respond. I had my first root canal on 3/31 and yesterday I needed to get the temp crown. It took my dentist (which I will be changing) 4 1/2 hours to do the procedure and she lost her patience and used my head as a bunching bag. My ex is a dentist (forensic odontologist / DNA dude now) and he was livid over how long it took and how much pain I was in. LOL..leave it to a Virgo to take the pain and guilt onto himself. I told him it wasn't his fault.

Anyway, I am in a bit of pain (actually a lot of pain), but I am trying to keep my spirits up. The thing that really got me is that I have a HUGE mouth so there is no excuse about not being able to reach the tooth and I am also a pretty happy patient. BUT she also got my lips pinched in the mold structure and hit my teeth with her instruments so many times I thought I was going to need caps. LOL.....If you want to see how big my mouth is, you can check out the pic on the album. I have a big smile.LOL

Oh well, thing have to get better.

Hey Muse, when is your birthday? Do you ever feel in conflict being a Sag with a Virgo moon? I have a Virgo ascendant, which is sometimes hard, but it has really tempered some the problems endemic to us Saggies (like spending and not being able to grasp the details.

Have a good one,

Pidaua
