Hi Guys

Sooooo which Saggi Moon wants to go first and reveal all well almost all ooops sorry my 12th house stuff slipped in there
Sue

PS: Point number one....we love our Moon sign........but then we love most things

PPS: Note how many smilies a Saggi Moon will get into their posts...we always run out of them

Oooooh!!!! Me first! Me first!

Quite true. Methinks I reached the smiley (Edit: I misspelled smiley as slimey! ) thingie limit about 3 times already... and that's keeping in mind the 8-smiley limit. Without it... I'll be prolly flooding the board with 'em!

Regarding my gf... I have this queer duality that as soon I'm over worrying about her (term used loosely, of course. Virgo sun can almost never stop worrying! ) I act as if it was one big joke (sag moon kicks in) and I just LOVE to tease her about it. v^_^;

For example, she has ulcers.

Me: You ok?
Her: yeah I'm fine. Don't worry about me.
Me: You sure?
Her: yep.
Me: Okay. Didn't I tell you to lay it easy on the sodas? You go drink and drink then puke all over the place!
Her: ggrrrr... (in a playful way)

And this conversation happens almost once a week for a while. Stubborn girl, with sun in leo and moon in scorpio.

I don't mean to offence you Saggi Moon persons, but, seriously, are you completly INSENSITIVE??!!! Sometimes I'm wondering if Saggi Moons just can't take it in when others are having a hard time. Lack of empathy. Or what?!!
(Ok, I'm getting myself killed now!)

A person's Moon sign alone will not make them completely insensitive - other things in their chart would need to be considered. For example...I have a Saggitarius Moon but I also have a Pisces descendant and 4 planets in my 12th house. I absorb everything - especially other people's emotions.

Plus it depends if the person uses the postive or negative trait of their signs. A friend of mine also has a Sagittarius Moon - she can have a great sense of humour but mostly she is depressed and not at all optimistic. Her Moon works in a totally different way to mine - but as I mentioned other things in the chart need to be considered as well.

Where's your Moon?

Has anyone read Secret's From A Stargazer's Notebook by Debbi Kempton-Smith?

I think she's great

Anyway here's what she says in that book about Sagittarius Moon's.........

That ol'debbil rubber Moon! God, you can do what you like to these soulful folks, but they'll always come bouncing back like boppo toys and praising your name to boot! Sock 'em in the jaw, pop them in the snot-box and they just roll on back with that smile on their faces.

We should all be so lucky to have this big-hearted Moon; it's a guarentee of deep reservoirs of faith and resilience. Who can keep them down? Who'd be mean enough to try, especially as these folks are so much fun to be around? They're not afraid to throw their money around, either, when they've got it. They love to be generous to other people, and in return they are surrounded by a crowd of chattering, devoted loonies.

And funny? They invented comedy - timing is their forte. After a couple of beers they'll start improvising, and they're damned good at it too. It's no wonder they make friends fast and keep them a long time.

Drawbacks - well, there are a few. If something goes wrong, it's the other guy's problem. This Moon position is inclined to be a Grade A rationalisation expert. They don't like things to, ah, get heavy. They're terrified of treadmills. As long as they feel they're on their way somewhere, they're ok. They dislike facing the truth about themselves and their childish refusal to act like responsible grown-ups. Let's just not look at that. What are you trying to do, spoil their fun? Let someone else carry the dull routine part of the work load. That's life after all - Scoobie-doobee-doo!

If there's a big problem, it makes sense to them to get their plimsoles on and scoot along to the next adventure. Some of them do. If they stay to work things through, it's usually because they have High-Minded Principles. This self-righteousness may bore you, but it's comforting to know that they care about doing The Right Thing. Being Right is their favourite pastime. They will tell you what's good for you before they've even gotten to know the problem! This Moon position needs to preach.

They are better salesmen than you are, but they can never resist you if you ask for their advice. I have never met one Moon in this sign or house (Sag rules 9th house)who didn't have an evangelical streak. If they don't want your product, they'll help you find another customer. They don't live unless they give. Their feelers are in the future, and "keep on truckin" is their credo.

If your favourite clown's got the blues, get him into a religious or ethical argument. Philosophy cheers them up. Pass the hat and take up a collection to buy them a plane ticket somewhere. Even reading foreign newspapers cheers this lot up. Perhaps their reach exceeds their grasp, but they think people get a lot farther with that philosophy. It's exasperating to admit it, but they're right again. They give good advice.

What do they need most in a partner? And how much of that can be altered by the rest of their chart? I guess what I am asking is what do sag moons need the most in a relationship and how important is the moon to males compared to other parts of the chart? (am i making any sense here? hehe)

Hi everyone,
I am a sagitarius and my moon is also in sagitarius so i'm heavy on the sag energy. One thing that imust say is i'm very philoshophical ( i hope i speled it right),analytical, moralistic, and spiritual. I just understand the spiritual aspectof life so easily it comes easy to me. Now sagitarius rules the intellectual, philosophical and spiritul world. I know that sag moons are natural comedians and they try to make everyone feel good plus they have an ubelievable love for animals. If you have a sag moon you need your freedom and space and like your alone time. Peoplewho are sags and people who have sag moons are the explorers of the zodiac they want adventures. Last but not least Sag moons are eternal optimists they believe things will always get better and for them thy always do.

I've been called insensitive before, and I admit I've been guilty of that to some extent.

In my case, I have always believed that "laughter is the best medicine". So I admit, I may not know or feel exactly what they are going through but I know enough to instead of saying "I feel your pain" blah blah blah (coz sometimes I really don't) I'll rather just perk him/her up and make him/her forget his/her problems... at least for a while.

My GF's quite sensitive about her failures (well, most scorp moons are, aren't they?) and I sorta struck a low blow when I mentioned about that (I was just joking, really). She went ice on me for about 5-10 minutes before I made her realize that failure isn't the end of the world. Well, the little conversation ended quite well, I must say. At least she has learned to laugh at it, although she admits it's still quite a sensitive topic.

I think it's better than just being there doing nothing except for emotional support (although it does help, too). Having a sympathetic soul is nice, but having a friendly soul who can help you I think is probably better. (Edit: There goes that Gemini tendency to repeat myself again. )

Did that sound saggy-moon-like?

Cat, thanks, that was very informative (I hate this word, but it's the most appropriate )

I've always thought of Sag as one of, if not the most positive of the signs. I love their open-mindedness, spirituality, optimism, generousity and their "live and let live" attitude, much similar to the Aquarian. But these are all generalizations and I guess we'd all like to know the other side of Sag (if there is one)

I never thought of Sag Moons as insensitive, after all, they are a fire sign, and fire signs are very emotional, right? But I guess to a more sensitive person they may appear insensitive. For example, if I'm hurt, I need the other person to symphatise with me. I don't really need someone to pick me up, I do that on my own once I get it out of my system. The person who helps me is the one who understands how I'm feeling and that understanding alone helps me. I don't need to hear things like: "It'll be better soon, you'll see." I know that myself and it doesn't help me deal with my problem. What I need is understanding and emotional support, or, better yet, someone in there with me who feels what I'm feeling. If I have nobody like that, I solve my issues alone. It's more painful like this, but I'd rather have that than someone who doesn't really care. So I guess what someone needs depends entirely on the individual. I'm a Scorp Moon, btw, if anyone doesn't know that yet

x3me, you're a Gemini Sun? Now I'm confused, I don't know whether to relate your post to your Moon or your Gemini Sun

Actually, I'm a Gemini Rising, and yes, my Asc, Sun and Moon form a T-square. Major tension.

Errr... fire actually represents enthusiasm. The emotional, empathic element is water.

Thank you for this topic !

My daughter is an Aquarius sun with a Sag. moon. She does love animals ! Especially dogs and anything wild. She brought home two baby snapping turtles

Her moon is in her 6th house. She is a chit chat! Though I know another Aquarius who's moon is in Capricorn and she's a talker too.

She does like to be alone at times and HATES being indoors.

Though once I found out that the moon reflects the relationship with the mother... I guess it sort of paranoid me . I mean, I'm wondering if this is a good sign for the moon to be in regarding that??

Both my parents are Sag Moons, and they are:

-extremely quick-witted and funny
-warm
-enthusiastic
-interested in movies, books, travel, and the outdoors
-animal lovers
-quick to forgive when there's sincerity

They also have:
- short attention spans
- foot-in-mouth disease
- no interest in lingering in feelings, or gourd forbid, _talking_ about feelings!

They also place great value on:
- values (in general)
- freedom
- justice/injustice

They're great people-- we're very different, but I admire their lunar fire.

Hi 1Scorp
Look at her chart to see what aspects are made to her Moon. Aspects to the Moon refect the relationship to the Mother.

Thank you Cat.

I took a look at the link. Someone said something about the sixth house... my eyes got huge !! Then I saw Mercy's post and was relieved.

I will have to look more into her chart and see how it's aspected. Don't know why that portion of a chart intrigues me so much? Guess I just want to make sure I'm doing alright??...

Hi 1Scorp
Yes don't worry about the 6th house and the Mother. I don't know of any reason as to why the 6th would = bad/good relationship with regards to that. But I thought the other info might be helpful to you.

Usually you need to check the aspects to the Moon, the MC and IC (4th and 10th houses)
Sue

PS: You could also check out which house the Moon rules in her chart

PPS: I'm actually wondering where your Moon is Which sign and house?

Hiya Cat:

My moon is in the 1st house - Libra.

Of course you're going to get one of those paranoid scorp statements about that question of yours.... "Why?"

Also, you said which house the moon rules in her chart? Do you mean the 4th house/ruler of cancer? (4th house is scorpio)

Or where Cancer is in her chart? (her first house) I'm still learning.

Hey 1Scorp
Paranoid...and why....
Ya gotta love a Scorpo

Ok it's late here and my brain is sleeping and needs to get to bed pronto........
So very quick sleepy thoughts.....

Libra Moon - you are trying very very hard to be fair/just I can see that side of you

So her 4th house ruler is Scorp....your Sun must be sitting in her 4th house...right?

I'd need to see both charts as I am more of a visual person.
Chat again tomorrow

Heya, heya -

I'm kinda buttin' in (but not really - my Mom AND step-mom are Pisces w/ Saggi Moons)...

Oh, wait, wait...hee, hee! I've got a question:
It seemed that both of them (even my Mom w/ her Cancer Asc) kinda sorta resented some of the "responsibilities" of momhood - is that true in general of Saggi Moons?

But, now, the real reason I'm peeping in
:

Cat - What does good ole' D. Kempton-Smith say about Aqua Moons?

(If you're bored and/or have some time on your hands.)
That description that you put up there for ya'll was hi-la-ri-ous.

Hey Cat

Trying very hard to be fair/just? Who me?

I hope that's a good thing

Also, about my daughter's chart and mine. I feel guilty about asking you to do that. I hate asking someone for favors

If this helps?? My first house is Libra... hers is Cancer

Her sun is in her 8th house... her moon in her 6th house. My moon in my 1st house and my sun is in scorpio though it's sitting in my 1st house.

Again, thanks for taking the time.

Also, what sign are you?
Hey, you asked me

Hi Proxieme
Re:
"kinda sorta resented some of the "responsibilities" of momhood - is that true in general of Saggi Moons?"

Well I wouldn't say it's a general rule but obviously that's my Saggi Moon opinion
As I think I mentioned somewhere (hopefully on this string) - it depends how you use your Moon...positive vs negative. Mostly a Saggitarius Moon would be good fun to have as a Mother, very broad minded and tolerant. Children normally feel that they can talk to them about anything - without being "judged". (They most likely think we're one of them ) Well that's my experience with my ex's children - in fact that's what they told me and also their Dad.

Ok...ya sweet talked me I'll type up Debbie K-S version of Aqua Moon for you. I don't have time tonight though but I will do it this week.

Hey 1Scorp
I've had a busy day and am feeling abnormally tired......pffftt I currently have transiting Neptune exactly opp my Natal Mars and yes I can understand how that transit totally drains your energy.....amazingly so But the brain's going like a train

With charts I do find it easier to look at them than to read the aspects and then visualise them - hope that makes sense. Anyway....let me get back to you on that as I'm off to bed shortly.

I'm a double Virgo with a Saggitarius Moon
