Sagittarians can breathe easy now that one of the heaviest transits will now now come to pass! It has been a heavy two years for us archers. The torch is passed on to Capricorns now since Saturn will oppose their sun. Look forward to feeling restricted and suffocated as Saturn clamps down on all your individuality and energy. As if Capricorns dont already feel the weight of their own personalities keeping them toeing the line. Be prepared to turn it up a notch on the discipline. It will be a hard year for Capricorns. Cancer on the other hand will have an excellent time reaping the rewards of hard work done in the past. At the same they can look forward to reaping failure if their work has been inconsistent.

ACK! so that explains it!
two years you say?
jeez.. saturn DID clamp down hard. i had wondered why there was a certain 'heaviness' to things...why i felt 'restricted' and 'pressured' in some way to attend to responsibilities...but couldn't put a finger to it. thought twas all about pluto in sag.

oh yes, this transit definitely went overboard with the sobering effect this time around. for the FIRST time in my life, my thoughts dwelt on 'age' and 'getting older'. it made me think it was time i put down roots!!! now, THAT is serious! saturn is connected with time, isn't he?
(ulp! just noticed the number of times i used 'time'.)

thanks, drummer. i don't really spend time getting to know transits so your info is helpful.

funny, though, i have liked all that happened in the two 'grim' years.

Hi Distantdrummer
Well I most certainly cannot wait for Saturn to move into Cancer. I'm a Virgo with Virgo rising and a Sagittarius Moon. So have been seriously "clobbered" by both Saturn and Pluto for quite some time now - they've not only been whacking my Sun, Mercury, Venus and Moon but also been messing with all of my angles.

So I'm sure I can speak for all the mutable signs........yea Saturn move it

Also I recently went to an astrologer and she said my "saturn return" is coming about that time also!!. I'm, born on 15/12/73, is that correct and what can I expect.

Saturns to its own place is also a period of high stress! For example jason from Oz Saturn has returned. His Saturn at birth is in Cancer;therefore, he has already begun the beginning stages of transformation. The first 29 yrs. of our lives belong to our parents, friends, teachers, government, television and religious influences. We become what we were built to be by all these sources. Saturns return will give us/you the opportunity to create the person you always knew you could be. You will stand free like never before, and never in the next 29, will you feel this free. Saturn comes to do housecleaning. it is also a great opportunity to entertain the holy spirit, or an entity of the higher levels of existence, of course you must have purified the body in order to take in such a spirit. Nevertheless, this period of Saturn is where free will operates to its fullest. You are really living now, no longer are you a product of something outside yourself, but you will be what you feel you should be. The process is painful though! Goodluck!

Oh Yes, I am soooo ready for Saturn to move out of Gemini. I am made up of a lot of Sag. Sag sun, Venus, Ascendent, and Chiron. Saturn seemed to go back and then reeeeteach yet again and again during these last 2 years. I think of this time as Delays, Limitations and everything being tested.Tough transit.
Cat, what do people say about Saturn transiting over your descendent and then into your 7th house? Please, I do hope it is good. This has been so hard already. Love Flame

Cat, I agree; as a Mutable, I'll be glad to see Saturn leave Gemini. Between that and Pluto...it's been rough. Add this to the fact that everyone in my household is Mutable (2 Gems, 1 Virgo, 1 Pisces Sun, plus 1 Pisces Moon, 1 Pisces Rising, 1 Virgo Rising, and 1 Sag. Rising)...get the picture?? I say "bye-bye and good riddance".

Flame, I know you asked Cat about Saturn transiting 7th, but here's my 2 cents': I got married when Saturn transited my 7th. For me, it represented a "growing up", making a serious commitment...and becoming a Mother. It wasn't bad for me, because I was ready for the profound changes. I admit it was a little "scary" (for this Gem to really settle down and be responsible) but once I relaxed and accepted it, I really welcomed it! Hope that helps.

Thanks Twinlady, your 2 cents is worth a million. I was very intrigued by your info and went to Astro.com and pulled up my transits for many years ago when I first met and moved in with my ex. Voila! There was Saturn in my 7th and it stayed until we bought a place together and moved in. We married later but I do relate to what you said about 'growing up' and making the transition to a different homelife. I had always thought that the trip abroad had made me 'grow up a lot' and now after a careful look realize I had taken that trip while Saturn was in my 7th. It was one of the best times in my life and I always thought of it as a 'turning point' in my life. I also met a few men while Saturn was in my 7th that were very much a part of a learning process.(go0d) Twinlady...you truly are a GEM and I thank you for helping me stumble on this info. I feel a lot better about the next few years now. It is interesting cos I do feel more ready to make a change one of these days. I do like my personal space with all my Sag and the Gem on my 7th cusp but intuitively know that this will change in the next few years. Hope this info here helps others as well. Love Flame

So that's what the hell's been going on? I could relate with Cat. Got clobbered, too. But at least Saggy moon helped me put up a happy front.

Sounds like you Sags earned your badges!!

Cappy is my ascendant & I have no Sag or other Cappy in my chart. So, perhaps I`ll be unrestricted cuz this Aquarian is ready for a smoother ride thru the uni-verse!!

I've had an interesting time over the last two years.

When Saturn moved into Gemini he opposed my natal Saturn, and transiting Pluto was sat on my North Node in Sagittarius. I not only totally changed my career but went self-employed in a partnership with a Capricorn and a Gemini. The Capricorn walked away just before Christmas. At present Saturn is opposing my natal Mars but when he moves into Cancer he will be moving towards conjuncting my Asc.

Natal Saturn is the apex of a T square involving my sun which is opposing my natal jupiter, pluto and moon.

I wouldn't say it has been an easy two years, but I'm still surviving. I just hope that with transiting Uranus moving to conjunct my sun, it will be a lot more interesting and profitable.

Love Gladeyes
