Hi Everyone
By way of continuing Mercy's string re the Moon. Let's see how the Moon affects us all depending on the sign it's transiting.

Ok....so starting today (18th April) the Moon is currently at 14 degrees Scorpio.

Currently transiting my 3rd house...guess that's why I'm "yacking" (English slang for talking)

So how do you like the Moon being in Scorpio? It will be in Scorpio until 20th.

Good topic Cat. Scorpio moon is always tough for me. It's transiting my 11th house conjunct my moon/neptune conjunction at 19 deg Scorpio. I always get very needy around this time, but it does wonders for me if I apply myself to my esoteric studies.

Much Love,

Heidi

Hmm. The moon is currently transiting my Moon/Venus/Uranus conjuction in the 4th/5th.
Today I feel emotionally secure. Not moody like I often do at other times. I am also feeling quite productive. I'm in the process of cleaning out my house, eliminating stuff I don't need so I can fit everything into a tiny storage space.
Being active and getting stuff accomplished has put me into a really good mood. Very comfortable and content. Seeing things getting cleaned up makes me happy! Eagerly anticipating the major changes happening in my life very soon (moving out and going to a two week long permaculture workshop..YAY!)

Great topic, Cat!

WPS please don't be so upset. I know it's hard to find courage when you are breaking inside. Just remember you have a little bubby inside of you who needs you to stay strong and happy for his (don't know why I think its a he) sake.

Your ex is going to be a part of your life forever as you have a child together. I know you probaly can't bear the fact that he is with someone new but I was thinking if she is so winderful then why does he have to explain it to you? If she is so wonderful why does he have to tell you about it? In my experience a person who tries to show others how 'wonderful' someone is, usually is clutching at straws and is more likely trying to prove to themselves how 'wonderful' that person is. Does that make sense? He is more than likely a mixture of emotions as he comes to terms with being a daddy and some men cope with it (or not) in very strange ways.

Be patient but remember it will be best to keep on good terms with your ex for your bubs sake.

Also, you have something that no one can take from you. A beautiful little baby. This child is yours to help grow and nurture. This is something that some people will never have in their life and will by far surpass any love you have ever felt for another human being Cherish this wonderful time in your life and concentrate on this very special little person that is aprt of you. Make him/her smile and know that their mummy is happy and strong. You can do it and if you need a friend email me anytime

Much Love, Light and

WPS, hang in there... there is astrology, and then there is karma. Only a fool in denial would treat the mother of his child so badly. I hope the universe wakes him up, but meantime, you stay strong and take care of yourself-- and email Ruby like she offers.

As for the topic, I'm feeling better now with the Moon in Scorp. transiting my 8th house, than yesterday, when the Moon was in Libra transiting my 7th. Not bad, just very Libran.

Also today I had an excellent phonecall with an old Scorp Moon boyfriend who I didn't know was in town, (how 8th house! ), and had a special connection at dinner this evening with a best girlfriend, who is SunScorp.

All this in 48 hours... what a difference a Moon makes!

thanks.. you are very sweet.. i am too weak to give much of a response, but know that it is appreciated..

i have a question about the moon tho, and the sun for that matter. and it's probably really obvious, but i'm too frazzled right now to think straight.. if the moon is in taurus, does that mean my taurus moon is stronger, people in general understand my emotions better, etc..? and, along the same ligns, if the sun is in aries, would an aries moon person have more confidence, be more emotionally inclined and energized, etc?

Hi Everyone
Thank you for all your replies
It's interesting to see just how the Moon does affect us all and in different ways at different times.

I hope this string will help us all by helping each other to get through our bad days and celebrate our good days

Hi WPS
Grrr Moon transiting Scorpio my 3rd house (communications) makes we want to give that stupid ex of yours a real verbal stinger

I'm sorry for saying that as I know you love him... I just don't like the "game" he's playing with you at the moment. It's very cruel, hurtful, childish and unnecessary. There can be only one reason for him to send you an email like that and that is to hurt you - so he obviously has issues that he needs to deal with.

I don't have your chart details, so I can only guess that as your natal Moon is in Taurus (your 4th house) that this Scorpio Moon has been transiting your 10th. Scorpio is opposite Taurus so may have just now been making an exact opposition to your Moon. The 4th house = our home and with your Moon there it will intensify your need for a secure home which obviously your current situation with your ex is not giving you that security

I hope you're feeling a bit better today.
Sue

Hi Everyone
The empheris I have shows the Moon at 29 degree Scorpio today (19th). This empheris is from the astro.com site. I think they work on where the Moon is at, at the beginning of the day - so if my assumption is correct re that, then the Moon with be moving into Sagittarius today. Has anyone noticed a difference in how they're feeling?
Sue

PS: I just had a phone call from a girlfriend asking if I fancied going to the movies.....but actually I'm quite happy to stay home today. Saggitarius rules my 4th house and my Moon's also there. Interestingly enough, her Moon is also in Sagittarius but in her 5th house...so she wants to go out and play.

hi sue.. well, it's actually 3 in the morning for me and i can't sleep.. and dammit i'm craving cigarettes (quit 3 months ago).. thank you for your empathy. i'm just so emotioned-out about it.. been crying all day.. yes, i'm very confused as to his motive, tho i honestly think he just expects me to be happy for him. anyhow, he has aries moon conjunct his south node.. so i'm wondering if maybe he's dealing with this in such an insensitive way, pushing past me for another becaue of this..? and (as per my previous question) because, perhaps, the sun is in aries? would that maybe strengthen that energy?

thank you so much for your reply.. and i've been meaning to get back to your post to me from a month and a half ago.. and yes, my moon is conjunct my IC, making scorpio in my 10th. interestingly there have been some deals (vocational, somewhat) going down for me.. not sure if that's what this moon transit would indicate..

thanks again (very much) for your compassion

Hi WPS
Sorry to hear it's 3am and you can't sleep. Do you have any lavender that you could sprinkle on your pillow? It does help to relax you and enable some sleep. Only sprinkle a little though as too much can be sickly.

Well as you know Mars is the ruling palnet of Aries. Mars can "rush" into things and sometimes without thinking.

In times of trouble we all have a tendency to to revert back to our south node (the past) as we feel comfortable there as we have brought those "learnt" lessons with us into this lifetime - so we feel safe. As opposed to moving forward in the direction of our North Node (our future/lessons to learn in this life time).
There's nothing wrong with temporarily hiding back in our South Node but doing that for too long will make our lives flat and unfulfilled.

For speed I'm copying and pasting some info for you from Bob Marks site re your ex and his Nodes.....

The Moon’s nodes are not planets. In fact, they are not even material objects! Just two points in space where the Moon’s orbit crosses the plane of the Earth’s orbit. But they are an important part of any horoscope interpretation because they show a “direction” in your life.
No, this is not some sort of mystical force directing your life. The North Node simply shows the general area that you have to develop. This is analogous to the “forces” that make organisms develop in certain directions and not in others.

The opposite point, the South Node, shows the place where you feel comfortable. Too comfortable. If you stay there, you get into a rut. And worse. Your life can stagnate. That effect is heightened if there are planets making a conjunction to the South Node. (Note: Your ex's Moon conjuncts his South Node - so he feels emotionally safe there)

Picture the South Node as your roots and the North Node as your leaves and branches. You have to grow in the direction of the leaves. If you spend too much time on your South Node roots, you get root rot.

Important Point: When you finally learn to express your North Node, the positive traits of your South Node sign shine through. We tend to cling to our South Node sign, but if we do, we are seldom happy with the result. Ironically, it is only when we concentrate on our North Node sign that we get what we want from our South Node placement. Usually, only the North Node is included in the horoscope. There really isn’t any need to show the South Node because we always know where it is, exactly opposite the North Node. The Sign position of your nodes shows the main battle you have to deal with. The House position shows which area of your life that struggle will take place.

North Node in Libra: Partnership is one of the keys for you. Your South Node is in Aries, so your tendency is to do things on your own. You may start that way, but you will usually need the help of someone else to finish things off. And that Aries temper! You have to learn to handle conflicts in a peaceful manner (Libra). Blowing up (Aries) will most likely blow your chances for succeeding. So will that Aries tendency to charge ahead first and look later.

Can you relate the above to your ex and his behaviour?

Try to get some sleep
Sue

WPS I am so sorry! I hope your feelings will ease soon! Sendin you love!

As for the topic, great Cat! I am not sure yet about how I am feeling with different Moon positions. I mean as the Moon is in Sag 6 degrees it is perfectly Trining my Venus in Leo 6! Sóhóóó, but I was confused, thought it was in Sag already yesterday. Felt really shibby (our language for feeling jolly ), and now I also know that a lot of times when the Moon was in Scorpio something special happened (third house).
I don't know, I'd have to think about it as it really depends on the transits. I remember one time just before new years Mars was opposite my Saturn and some other awefully choking aspects were going on. The moon then was also in Scorpio and boy did I feel unshibby. When it came in Sag and MArs was backing off as well my whole self came back. Like the strangler had left the building!

What a chit chat....pfff. Anyways I like this thread a lot! Thanks you guys and Weird Purple sparkles!!! Hold on...I wish you all the best! You and your baby deserve all the peace in the world!
At least you know you can always come here for support or positive energy!

Today my sun is in my fourth house and the moon in my twelft house...
All I want is to be left alone. That lonely introspective feeling; like there`s something just eluding you & if you focus, you can capture it. Experience has taught that it isn`t usually true, but the feeling remains.
*Sigh*, it`s gonna be a looong day.
