"sry" means "sorry" -
Carlo was saying that he's a Virgo.
Which he is.
I believe that when he misspelled the man's name, he was quoting you.

Cheers.

And through her we see
That truth contains hurt
And it shall set us free

Hello Sugarlips, aka my favorite Virgo

A journey to the Silver State
for a role on the Silver Screen
One must consent to being horribly eaten
On the blistery desert plain
Vultures circle round and round
Fantasies of bloody tastes snarling
on their tongues
What's this? The vultures see?
The corpse has gotten up
and walking around free

omg, and it was all about that and more, it was surreal and sublime and a frikkin blast. 13 of us on a houseboat for three days on lovely Lake Mead. so when we weren't in a scene, we could just jump in the water and swim, since it was hot. I was the first mate (of course the director was the captain lol) so I piloted the boat a lot, it was fun. I got to have my character named Carlo, since my good friend was both writer and DP (director of photography, basically the guy with the cameras). My part was really fun, the criminals steal the show. We see a small craft with four people and a little dog on it, two women and two men, and they are screaming for help, so we decide to pull them in, since they may have passports so we can escape to Mexico on the boat (we just botched a bank robbery and only got away with 28 grand). So once on the boat, we harass the women, that was hysterical. it was sooo much fun. It'll be called El Chubacabra, and prolly will be out in a year or so, going to film festivals. I think I'll be helping with editing also, that should be crazy. So there was a shot with all three of us in a bloody pile, then the people we rescued disposed of our bodies by rolling us off the edge of the boat. sooo much fun, and we're gonna steal the show too my first movie!

here is another poem I wrote last week...

It’s a Life Full of Wonder

It’s okay to wonder
From time to time
Or a lot
Whether your path
Is true, right and exact
Or if your life is screwed up
And going to pot.

In fact
It’s more than okay
It is totally wonderful
In every single way.
When life seems to, well,
Just plain suck
And you feel completely out of luck
Just remember
It’s more than okay
It is totally wonderful.

How can that be?
Because in every way
You are loved
You are supported
You have all you need
Every moment
Of every day.

Even when you feel
That this is not the case
You can be and are
A wellspring of grace
For if you will it
It is so
So will you will it
And let your fear go?

See, all that holds you back
From seeing life as full
All good and complete
Is that four-letter one syllable
Scary little “f” word
The “f” in your “ear”
That doesn’t let you hear
The peace all around you.

That peace is there
Actually it’s everywhere
And if you slow down
Get rid of the frown
Stride to an “ace pace”
That peace will pop up
Right in front of your face.

So agree today
To have no fear
Just accept and claim
The peace that is there
Then you can wonder
And wonder and wonder again
And be full of wonder
Be wonderful.

***

have a wonderful week!

Love,
Carlo

Carlo, you're the Virgo dude, arent you? I have a "bit" (blatent understatement) of a history with Virgos myself, so...yeah.
This is the first "live" post you've submitted since I joined in May.
I think you're kind of legendary around here and I'd like to find out for myself why, so I'm hoping you'll drop by more often!
Congrats to our MOVIE STAR!!!

Excellent poem, I like it.

You know, if you aired your poems on BBC Radio next to Sylvia Plath . . . you'd get a loyal following.

P.S. Mahler Symphony No. 1 is still playing on BBC Radio 3. I love it! Michael Tilson Thomas, Director of the SF Symphony is going to conduct all of Mahler's work and put them onto CD. Three are already out. I listened to #9 in concert a few months back. (MTT is so handsome, *swoons*. Cappy boyfriend is jealous. You would laugh at what he says.)
